A native of Georgia, Dr. Vishal Patel attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate degree. He then went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011. During the course of his graduate career he underwent extensive training at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and Woolfson Eye Institute specializing in ocular disease and co-management of laser and cataract surgery.

Dr Patel and his staff are professional, kind, and courteous. The experience was positive and thorough from checking in to the examination and medical assessment. I also love the convenient Crabapple location. And I ended up getting some great frames from the good assortment he offered in-office. Highly recommended on all fronts!

Dr. Patel is the absolute best! We just moved here and my mom and I needed an eye doctor. When we called, the receptionist was able to get us an appointment together. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised how nice the facility was. Cecile was very sweet at the front desk! Dr. Patel is very thorough and is advanced in all areas of his craft, especially technology! He took the time with both of us to walk through our concerns and made us feel very comfortable about our plan of care. Without a doubt recommend coming here!

I was referred to Dr. Patel by my ophthalmologist and my experience was phenomenal. Very clean, organized, not overbooked or long wait time to be seen. Bedside manner was pleasant and he provides attention to detail. I like to be given options which he did. Dr. Patel spoke to me and not at me. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to bring the rest of my family here

Wonderful first appointment with Dr. Patel. He was friendly, calm, and knowledgeable and used very state-of-the-art equipment. My new contact prescription is only a slight change from my old one, but I've already noticed a huge improvement in the comfort and clarity of the brand he switched me to. The office was clean and modern, and the front-desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great experience all around! I'll definitely be back next year.

Best eye doctor experience I’ve ever had. They use the latest technology and the first time where I didn’t have to have my eyes dilated due to their cutting edge screening. I also liked how the doctor wasn’t pushy to purchase my contacts from him. He offered that I could use my insurance benefit there or use to order online. Highly recommend and a first class experience.
