Dr. Jinen Shah attended Troy University where he obtained his B.S. in Biology. He went on to pursue his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingam's School of Optometry.

This review is for my experience on Tuesday December 7, 2021. I was not impressed when I went to pick up my and my son's glasses. First of all, the door was locked at 5:30 p.m. on a Tuesday when the business hours listed on the door said they closed at 6:30 p.m. A woman came to the door and says "can I help you?" And just stands there blocking the door. I said I'm here to pick up our glasses. She asks for my name while still making us stand outside in the cold. Then she asks if we have masks. The best, friendliest and most welcoming eye doctor and staff I’ve ever experienced in my 37 years wearing glasses! State of the art equipment and there was another option instead of Dilation which was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend anyone and everyone in East Cobb to check out the luminary eyecare office! Thank you for a wonderful visit and a great exam! Happy to have found Luminary Eye Care. The office is practicing safe covid measures such as taking temperatures and washing hands. Scheduling an appointment was easy through ZocDoc. Kelly, at the office, helped make sure my previous records were received and reviewed. Dr. Shah was thorough in my glasses and contact exams, asking me about my ocular history. I felt most at ease as the office did not feel super salesy in terms of pushing me to buy new things. The doc kindly walked me through the price comparisons of monthly vs. daily contacts.
