For many years, McDonagh Medical Center has been open six days per week to accommodate our out-of-town patients as well as local patients who find it difficult to attend appointments during the work week. Dr McDonagh began using chelation therapy in the late 1960s and was one of five physicians in the country who pioneered the use of this therapy. At that time it was performed in the hospital setting so Dr McDonagh would test his patients thoroughly and noticed changes that were just short of remarkable.
We treat a significant amount of disorders (asthma, gastroenteritis, arthritis, tics, depression) where checking for allergies, especially food, may be an issue. We can do IgE (allergic immunoglobulin) blood testing but many of the patients that come to us have had that done and are not getting helped.
Chelation Therapy is a technique the Doctor McDonagh and Rudolph have been doing together since 1977 (almost 33 years) at McDonagh Medical Center and Doctor McDonagh was doing it 10 years before their partnership in 1977.

Everyone is professional and courteous in the office and medical staff. The provider was amazing and had an abundance of knowledge regarding my diagnosis that she shared with me during my visit. Went to see Dr. Wennerstrom for one issue, but after careful examination and questioning she was able to uncover the real issue- my major depression that many doctors and naturopaths had failed to do for over 20 years. She did a thorough work up which included blood tests and hair analysis to discover where I was lacking. Not only did she address my depression, but hormonal issues as well. I was dealing with a sore shoulder and was heading for a 3rd surgery after seeing a Doctor. It was very difficult to sleep because of the soreness. My brother, Mike Dunn, had received prolotherapy from Dr. Carrie Wennerstrom for his shoulder and recommended I contact her. After receiving 3 treatments over several months, I am now doing much better and sleeping without the severe pain at night. I've struggled with knee pain for awhile which I normally took glucosamine on regular basis for, plus some ibuprofen before or after any type of physical activity such as running or cycling. Even tasks as simple as going down stairs would give me terrible knee pain.
I heard about Dr. Carey and Prolotheraphy as a better option for treating knee pain. So I went to Dr. Carey and had three sessions completed and I can definitely say that my knee pain has significantly diminished. Unfortunately, because of moving I was unable to have follow up sessions but I highly recommend Dr. Carey and this treatment

My son just finished 40 dives in their hyperbaric chamber under Dr. Wennerstrom’s care to help treat Cerebral Palsy. We are so happy with the results!
