When Mom died we began searching for a reasonable creation service. The first two places we tried surprised us with quotes of over $4,000. It is sad that at a time when family is already hurting from their loss that some places will take advantage .It was wonderful to find Cremartion Society of Washington. They quoted us $670 or $770 dollars (I can't remember which) but they took care of everything just as they promised and Mom's ashes were delivered to us in a tasteful plastic urn inside a velour bag in about a week. We couldn't be more pleased with the practical, common-sense, affordable service

My father passed away January 2020 and this being the first time I have had to deal with any type of burial/cremation the Cremation Society of Washington was beyond helpful.
Extremely cost effective, easy to work with, communication has continued with them checking on my family weeks after our loss. They dealt with everything from picking up my father’s remains in Thurston County, cremation, and making sure we received him back in a timely manner.

When we made the phone call to the time the person got to the home they were respectful and helpful. It was a great pleasure to help mom out of the home from beginning to end. We thought the velvet blue cover was most appropriate for mom to go out in style. The person that helped remove her body was very nice and helpful even filling out the paperwork. We had to redo some of the paperwork as you know at that time was difficult but it all worked out and Cremation Society was there for us during our time of need. Our mother passed away recently and Cremation Society of Washington was there for us in every way possible. They were very understanding of the loss and were very helpful professionally with genuine empathy and concern to do whatever necessary to ease our emotional pain. Making arrangements for the death of a loved one was the last thing I wanted to do. But when my wife's health took a serious turn for the worse I began to research options for her cremation. After reviewing several organizations I found the link for Cremation Society of Washington, looked at their website and reviews, and made the decision to choose them to take care of my wife when the time came. I would like to thank the staff at The Cremation Society of Washington for their efforts. We were comforted by knowing my mother's body was quickly transported from the hospital where she had passed. The staff was courteous and helpful in the process that followed. We also wanted to thank the Society for providing us with a close approximation of the time she was being cremated, since a family member is from a culture whereby there are certain observances at that time.
