She is a certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician. Sharing the vision of providing credible, low-cost and fast vocational courses, she manages Altamont Healthcare in all its undertaking with her husband Robert Glenn Campbell.

Our ERT course can be taken as a stand-alone course for Sterile Processing Techs that want another certification under their belt or as a complement to our SPD Tech certification program. Starting Fall 2021, we will waive the $250 registration fee when you co-enroll in our SPD Tech program! Endoscope reprocessing technicians sterilize, care for, and maintain different types of endoscopes.

The school is okay. But I went here during the pandemic (which we are still in) and most of it was online and not very much interactive. The teacher I had didn't really know how to explain well and honestly was the most boring thing I've experienced. It's all just power points and the one time we did have in classroom class it was all so fast that I don't even remember what they were teaching. And when your done with the class you need to pay $600 for the externship which is fine no problem with that but they take sooooo long to even put you on the waitlist you have to have

This school is good and cheaper on price but I waiting for internships for spd. They offered me one place but I couldn't take the internships spot due to my work hours. They hospital wanted full time students for they spd internships. Been on waiting lost for 1 year and half. I will updated as I finish my internships.

I regret going to this school. My teacher was cool but it seemed I knew more than him and some of the staff. The staff were all on different pages and kept on complaining that it was someone else’s job to do. The instrument final was wack. The way the questions were was so confusing. My internship wasn’t going to be until way over a year so I just quit.

This was a fast SPD course, but I did learn all that I needed to in order to pass my SPD certification exam. I took it in the summer 2020, but had to do it mostyl via Zoom because of COVID. It worked for me because both instructors lectured throughout the entire course instead of having the class do it independently. Although, when we had a lab, we were able to come in. The instructors for both SPD and ERT were very knowledgeable in the topics they taught. They do teach differently and run their class differently, but it worked for me. I took a tour of this place before enrolling. My tour was months before I decided to enroll because I wanted to wait for the surgical tech course to be offered here. The young lady that gave me the tour assured me that I could take the sterile processing class and apply the time/money already paid towards the surgical technician program here when it became offered. I learned a lot about sterile processing and GI endoscope processing here. It's a great learning facility if you put the effort in. I'm in the process of becoming a sterile processing technician, things came to a whole due to the covid-19 pandemic. Once things reopen I will be ready for externship. I was bow to obtain my cbspd certification, my BLS certification currently working on my GI endoscope. Altamont Healthcare is a great place to get education they have a nice helpful honest staff. And the teachers are good as well.

I graduated from the fall Sterile Processing Tech class with Kristian Cruz. He's an excellent teacher.He made to sure to throughly explain every chapter.He also went over and beyond to ensure we were prepare to take & pass the State Board. We received highlighted notes to further our success. Would I recommend this program? Yes the school? Yes! I also took the Endoscopic Reprocessing Tech program.Ms D fantastic!!! Program is 26 hrs which is perfect for sterile tech already working. For 'new-bee's 26hrs just isn't enough! 3 -4 wknds would be excellent. Potentially the school should look into 2 ERT

I participated in the EKG tech 7 weekend class program and I feel this class did not prepare me enough for my NCCT exam or real world job experience. Classes should be a minimum of 10-12 weeks for how much information is needed to be digested and memorized properly. Though I did pass my exam on the first try I was extremely skeptical and under prepared; most of the time you have to do your own studying in your spare time to learn anything, also we did not have any equipment to practice stress testing like treadmills or practice using Holter monitor's which I have found is extremely important

I took the SPD night classes. It is a face paced class but all the material that you need is provided. Miss a DeAnn was my teacher and absolutely love her! She made this class as easy as possible. I recommended my best friend to do it as well. Thank you miss De’Ann for everything. I passed my SPD board!

I had to give this school 5 stars due to the fact khristian Cruz is an phenomenal teacher. I took his SPD(sterile processing technician) class sept 10th- oct 22nd very short and fast paced program only cost about $2800 very inexpensive plus the school offers payment installments FYI externship not included that's an additional fee. I recommend anyone wanting to go back to school for a quick trade to definitely take a class with Mr. Cruz the way he instructs is the best he goes above and beyond for all his students his main goal is to make sure you understand the material and to pass the state

They are all about the money! Its a husband and wife business. You are going to wait about two years for your externship not to mention you have to pay for it as well...You can volunteer at the county for FREE!!Dont give them any more of your money!!! Honestly, the the teachers at this school are probably the only good thing about it. But if you're looking for hands on experience, look somewhere else. All you do is sit and watch PowerPoint presentations or videos from YouTube that you could've just watched at home. The really sucky part about this school, is that you're told that your externship is part of the cost of your class, but then you have to pay $150.00 additional dollars to do your externship?? Why should I have to pay more money for something I had already paid for? Where'd the money go that I originally paid?

I recently earned my certification of completion at Altamont, and if anybody is considering in entering the medical field, I recommend checking out Altamont Healthcare. Ok so do don't go here! I came here two years ago and ended up canceling due to there accreditation and they girl said I can write a cancellation letter via email and called also so I did that so I didn't have to drive out there now two years later they are saying they nvr got a cancelellatjon letter and I have the proof in my phone and they are saying If I don't get them a cancellation letter within 30 days they were going to send me to collections to pay $2000. I still have the email so that is my proof and I also went back over there and give them an additional letter These

I honestly would not recommend this program to anyone I know. My experience with the course itself was great. I had a great instructor who made things very easy and understandable as she works in the field and is a supervisor. My only issue is with management and how unorganized things are. For example, there is a lot of "we are going to do this for you" and they don't. Everything is fine until after you graduate and they have your money (they're very money hungry). They told my group that they would be discounting our price of the externship (originally 400) to $150 because

RUN..RUN AWAY FROM ALTAMONT HEALTHCARE IN STOCKTON CALIFORNIA... I enrolled in the sterile processing class at the end of 2015. I was very excited to take on a new venture in life. after paying roughly $2200 for this course I'm now set and ready to go... Class is now in session... #1. the instructor ( David M.) was a recent student whom Cherish and Glen- the owners of the school- solicited to become the school's sterile processing instructor. No big deal right? Wrong!! the guy didn't have a clue as to how to teach a body of ADULT students. He literally read to us for 5 hours per

Four stars for David! One of the best teacher I think I had in my college years. Very very patient, and he actually go through each and every chapter on the book.
But for the school itself, the air conditioning sucks. And I have plenty times where I would call and no one would answer when they just sit around the office.. And I did sign up with my sister in law, but I haven't received the $50 back and it states it in the website that if you come as a group you get discount.. I was told to wait till after graduation to see if I get it back or not. When first day we did come together and payed

AWESOME school to attend! Not only were the course schedules convenient for myself, the cost of the courses are most definitely affordable too. This place is all about helping you succeed. Courses are short but straight to the point. I'm able to balance my education, my household/family and my personal life. The staff are personable and educated.
