If you think anxiety is starting to affect your daily activities and quality of life, the first place to start is talking to a healthcare or behavioral professional. It's natural to become anxious when we perceive danger or apprehension. It's a survival mechanism that is important in many aspects, however, anxiety can become overwhelming and consume an individual even when no real danger exists.
If you think depression is starting to affect your daily activities and quality of life, the first place to start is talking to a healthcare or behavioral professional. Feeling down and upset at times is a natural part of life but depression occurs when feelings of sadness, loss, or even anger consistently affect an individual's daily activities and quality of life.
If you think you may have a mood disorder and it's starting to affect your daily activities and quality of life, the first place to start is talking to a healthcare or behavioral professional. Mood disorders are characterized by changes in one's emotional state that appears inconsistent with the surrounding circumstances.
If you think you may have a sleeping disorder and it's starting to affect your daily activities and quality of life, the first place to start is talking to a healthcare or behavioral professional. Insomnia is defined as the difficulty of falling asleep or the inability to stay asleep. It can be short-term (acute) and usually related to specific circumstances or it can be chronic, occurring 3 nights a week for at least 3 months in a row.

April is fantastic. I have appointments monthly with her and I am just amazed at how she remembers everything about our sessions. This is so refreshing. I appreciate that she uses the time to listen to my emotional / mental rollercoaster ride that I experience. I can almost see the gears turning in her head as she evaluates my words in relation to my mediation regiment. I can tell she cares and that, more than anything else, is comforting. I feel protected.

Knowledgeable, personable and kind psychiatric physician's assistants. I have Ms. Howell and she is great. I highly recommend her. The online portal is pretty straight forward and easy to understand. The web documents were clear and easy to fill out from a cell phone, which is pretty key nowadays. They're also happy to help you acquire additional services if they can't help you themselves, such as seeing a therapist on a more regular basis as they only have 2 on staff. ;)

Pam has been incredible. She’s knowledgeable, involved, supportive, and compassionate. I’ve been to a million mental health folks in my life, and she’s been top notch. I’ve recommended her and the whole practice (my hubs went to April) to more people than I can count.

I’ve been seeing April for a few years now. I started seeing her when i was on Medicaid and continue to see her with my private insurance because i like he so much. She’s always been very flexible with me and my challenges. She lends a good ear and remembers a lot of content you tell her, which is inevitable. She asks a lot of good questions to both increase your circumstances and mental health. She’s been very open with medication and has let me work through what I trust and feel comfortable with. She’s never made me feel guilty or broken, which is so important on the path to wellness

I have been going to April now for almost 2 years and have been very satisfied with my experience. I went through a very traumatic experience a year ago and April helped me through it all the way by listening to my problems without judgement, giving me advice, recommending medications to fit my needs, and successfully tapering off medications that were only a crutch to the problem not a real solution.
April is also open minded and accepting of me having recommendations about which medications I want to try. She has never shot me down or made me feel insecure about playing an active role in my

The therapists are fantastic very professional & caring. Donna in the front office is one of the kindest receptionists I’ve ever met & she’s both kind & accomidating. The owner April is rough around the edges & from what I’m reading she picks & chooses who she’s nice to depending on the day. To me that seems disheartening & borderline discriminating. People should be treated the same across the board with human decency. The new girl up front is extremely rude & disrespectful over the phone. unreal! It’s bad business to smart off to people & threaten to hang up on them. If you can get

I was referred to April by my primary care provider while I lived in Lone Tree a couple years ago (I think back in 2018) due to depression, anxiety, sleep issues/nightmares, PTSD, and ADHD. I now live in Colorado Springs and still see her today. Being prior military and having all of these mental issues takes a big toll especially on self-worth and self-esteem. Since I’ve been going to Clarity Mental Health, I have been shown nothing but compassion and understanding from April, Donna, and her team. Not to mention how they are on top of everything when it comes to medications if I have an issue

I really love being a part of Clarity Mental Health. I feel so much compassion for the clients that cross my path daily and try to make their path to mental health seamless from 1st visit to last. Those clients have become people I know by face and name. Sometimes even their children's and dog's names. I work with a team of strong and knowledgeable people that care about every one in the community and their work place. For a clearer mind. I'm so happy to be a part of that.
