Founded in 1958 by William G. Uhl, Sr., The Uhl Agency has grown into the largest locally owned independent insurance agency in the greater Dayton, Ohio area. Well-known to the Dayton community for his basketball prowess in the 1950's, William G. Uhl Sr., used his 7-foot frame to become a consensus second-team All-American center for the University of Dayton Flyers in 1956.
Originally from Greenfield, Ohio and subsequently earning the nickname "Greenfield Goliath, " William led the Flyers to the NIT championship games in 1955 and 1956, was named to Dayton's All-Century team during the 2004-04 season, and was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.After his college career concluded, William founded the Wm.

Recently moved back from Indiana to Ohio after being gone two years. I went to switch all of my insurance to Ohio, and was referred to the Uhl Agency. I tell you what, my experience from start to finish was the easiest move I ever made. And they searched for the best policy for me.
