My food was great but my experience at Limoncello was not pleasant at all. I felt very neglected from my waitress and when inquiring on menu items and she was not informative at all. When asking about some of the items that I wanted to try at the restaurant the waitress was not very helpful and she was not engaging so I default to a filet which was amazing but I really came for a entree I would not be able to get elsewhere. I was really excited to try this restaurant but the service again was not great and I will not be returning.

Edit 2: I'm sad to see that pizza and family style carry out meals are no longer on their menu.
Dined in with a reservation recently. Was sat at an L-shaped booth that my husband could not find a comfortable position in. Ended up surrounding himself with our coats and sweaters to make do.
For food, we ordered the linguine al nero di seppia (squid ink pasta with braised octopus) and the grigliata di mare (grilled seafood medley). Both dishes were okay, but the seafood plate lacked cohesion. Felt like I was just nibbling on random things, rather than enjoying a full dish. The linguine was good

While visiting Baltimore on an overnight trip, we dined at Limoncello due to its high ratings and its heated outdoor dining room. Here’s our experience:
1) Food: The menu is full of Italian favorites, but we landed on the giant meatball for our toddler (who loved it!), finocchietta and orecchiette. Each was well made and full of flavor. Highly recommend any of those dishes.
2) Drinks: The limoncello martini and desert pear margarita are amazing. If you love sour, get the martini. For more sweet, get the margarita.
3) Service: It was efficient and friendly. We loved our server.
4) Space: It’s

This place is definitely not your “ordinary” definition of Italian food. Instead, they incorporate a fresh amalfi coast twist with delicious gourmet salads, seafood, unique spices & veggies and more.
We had the bruschetta (***to die for), swordfish & filet mignon with a few cocktails and everything was impeccable (10/10 recommend the cucumber basil gin gimlet). Entrees and alcohol are a bit on the pricey side. Service was very attentive. Reservations were a breeze online, & the attached parking garage was really nice. Overall atmosphere was super chic and vibey with beautiful decor around

Friends suggested eating here and of course we agreed. Limoncello has a presence in St Michaels MD yet despite our many visits there never ate or drank. So this was a welcome experience.
Cocktails were delicious, particularly the limoncello martini. The fennel salad and grilled shrimp starters (pictured) were delicious. I had the mixed seafood main course which had swordfish, grilled octopus, grilled shrimp, arugula salad and oven roasted potatoes. All perfectly cooked.
Definitely a taste of Italy in Baltimore.
Can't wait to try Limoncello in St Michaels.
This is definitely a place you should

I had this saved in my "want to go" list for a while. Finally made it and was worth every bite. I ordered a limocello flight (crema alla fragola, crema, and originale) to start. The primi piatti a genovese was amazing!!!! The braised beef caramelized onion ragu was exquisite and just melted as it was consumed. Secondi piatti- branzino pour the salmoriglio sauce on everything-magnifico. To finish the meal (which I packed some to go) I got the tiramisu.

I wanted to give Limoncello of Baltimore a five star review, but I couldn't. Had dinner there last evening.
The server gave us bread with olive oil drizzled with balsamic vinegar. That was excellent.
My wife and I shared an appetizer called Torta di Melenzane, a dish made with grilled baby eggplant, tomato sauce and three cheeses. It was delicious.
My wife had Salmone, a salmon filet on a bed of veggies and sauce. It was outstanding.
I had salad with a salmon filet on top. Very good.
The service was excellent, and the decor was very nice.
The reason I removed two stars from the evaluation

Finalmente! After almost three years in Baltimore my wife and I found a slice straight out of Italy. Vincenzo has figured it out with a fantastic fresh (almost all seafood is flown in from the Mediterranean)/ simple Italian menu, creative cocktails, and an ambiance to die for. We added some photos from the Restaurant Week Menu!

Overall it was a great experience, staff, and food. We were looking for a lunch spot to meet up and introduce everyone. Reservations were simple and they were good about rescheduling. We sat right down and we had prompt service. I had the calamari and fish for an appetizer. My team had a tuna salad, the chicken panini, and I had pasta. Everyone said their dish was great. Portions are on the smaller side for lunch, except the panini, and parking was not simple.
