Best mental hospital in Northern California to stay at for inpatient treatment. They let you have seconds and thirds on the food and the food is great. Other hospitals won't even give you seconds. Other hospitals don't even let you go outside but maybe once a week or so but here at least once a day. As far as everything else what do people expect from a mental hospital besides coloring group, watching tv, and taking meds and eating three really good meals a day. Plus they always get you a taxi back home. I never had any issue with the staff. I recognized 8 years ago at age 35 that sometimes I need

LET ME TELL YOU!!
i would give this a zero but it’s impossible so i give it a one.
IN PACIFICA
i was there for 6 days and rarely ever saw the doctor, the main doctor was gone the entire time except for my first and second guy, every time he just asked what medication you’re on and your 3 things from 1-10 and baam, i’m sorry that’s not therapy or anything if that sort. when they drew my blood the guy came in at 6am and for others the guy failed to find the vein! there was a patient there saying slurs that he shouldn’t have and i told the people in the front that he was and all they

TERRIBLE, I had a loved one go here and she was completely ridiculed, traumatized and treated with no respect nor rights here. I really wish I could leave zero stars, they completely go against their code of conduct and ho early deserve a lawsuit. No one who works here is qualified and the brutal things that happened to my loved one I wouldn’t wish on my enemy. This place needs some justice and I hope that they get what they deserve; this state mental health care system needs heavy heavy reform.

Uneducated, horrible, abusive staff, who condescends their patients and force-feeds medications illegally. Staff makes fun of their patients, targets them for their illnesses, and overall, traumatizes them. No therapy whatsoever. No group therapy and no therapist on site. Less than 30 minutes outside every day. Cleanliness is disgusting - I could not shower there once, because no one would clean the showers. Cruel, belittling, heartless, rude staff, from the social Workers, to the nurses, to the doctor. Keeps families apart by never answering phones. Go somewhere else, please. I suggest Del Amo

I wish I could give no stars. I am here as a past patient. I read my patient rights detailing that I could refuse medications, and when I asked for melotonin one night to sleep, they gave me Trazadone and did not tell me. I could file a lawsuit but don't want the trouble. I am traumatized by the staff there. I found more help and comfort in the patients around me, who experienced the same abuse. This place needs to get shut down.

I would rate them 1 because they don't know how to organize and they don't know how to respond properly to their own patients.

Their courses help me get more stable. I had cransround at me by an old lady. I was water thrown on me by the same old lady. She was pretty much out to learn so I forgive her and I moved on. Other than now the place is clean. Sometimes we will get unruly. But other than that it was a pretty good experience I haven't been back and never want to go back. But it taught me a lot of how to cope with behavioral problems. It was a good experience for 2 weeks to be stuck in there

As somebody that was admitted here for about 3 days, it was a good experience. I had my reasoning to be there, but the staff, BHN’s, RN’s, everybody’s very nice, caring and respecting. I don’t think I wouldn’t be in this mindset if it weren’t for the lessons and advice i had gotten from any of them, pray to not ever go back there unless i’m working there, but overall it’s a good environment.

I was hospitalized in the redwood part of the facility. For a week from June 17-24 wonderful staff. The food there was excellent and everybody you can tell took pride in their work ethics
