My husband, Bao, and I (Joanna) have known and loved each other for over 17 years, and we've turned our love for children and family into a family-owned business in Pasadena.

Services
Due to current restrictions by our state and local governments, and for the safety of our clients and staff, we are currently offering over-the-phone consultations and booking outdoor maternity portrait photography sessions that follow social distancing guidelines. We are also offering a limited number of indoor sessions with one session every 36 hours.
In addition to hair and makeup, your maternity photoshoot package includes one gown rental for your session. Choose from over 50 beautiful maternity gowns in our Client Closet. For non-maternity photo sessions, clients may add on a gown rental for $45 per gown based on availability. A $300 deposit per gown is required for non-session rentals and for outdoor session rentals.
Family portraits are often our most treasured keepsakes. Don't let too much time pass you by before you schedule a photo session for your family! Whether you've added a new member to your family or are just ready to update the prints that you so proudly display on your walls, we are ready to help you capture photos of your family that we know you'll love forever.
We know that every family is different and wants something unique for their portrait photography session. With that in mind, we've designed 2 family portrait packages for you to choose from. We also offer a la carte pricing. Know that no matter which package you choose, we'll work with you to create the family portraits that you've always dreamed of!
Are you ready to celebrate your child's birthday with an unforgettable, customized cake smash photography session? Designed for the parent who wants to celebrate with sweets (or non-traditional alternatives), our cake smash sessions are exclusively designed to fit your child's birthday party theme or one of their most favorite things.

I had a photo session with Joanna and Bao. I'm very impressed with the results. they are very professional and gives detail instruction to make you look good. Bao was my photographer - his attention to detail and attitude makes the whole session very enjoyable. I'd highly recommend them.

Nestled In Time Photography provided my husband and I with the most excellent service possible!!! Joanna & her husband, treated us like family!! They were SO incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating, understanding, and extremely fun to work with!!! From the moment I walked in to their studio, I felt so celebrated. Joanna and Bao are amazing at what they do! We used them for newborn photos. This was our second child and I wanted something different from our first child, so I did some research and found them! I’m so glad I did! They really worked magic with their camera. I’m in love with all of the photos they took, especially our family photos! I personally hate taking pictures, but she kept me at ease and the photo she captured of me with our son, is one of my favorites!!! I am so glad we did newborn photos with Nestled in Time Photography! Joanna not only took great photos, but I felt very comfortable with her holding and positioning my newborn. She obviously has a lot of experience with babies! The photos turned out amazing - I’m glad I went with a bigger package because there were so many great ones! My now 8-month old loves pointing and looking at the large print of herself we have hanging on the wall :) Joanna also accommodated my personal interests by including a Harry Potter themed shot (I saw her setup on Instagram and mentioned to her how much I loved

Every experience with Nestled In Time Photography has been exceptional. I’ve been going to this photo studio since my 6 year was a newborn. And then again with my 2 year old. Throughout the years their craft has evolved and they never cease to amaze me.
They offer a great experience. Joanna and Bao are very easy going and make you feel welcome. Their studio is amazing and they have so many props for all occasions. The quality of their skills and products has gotten me many compliments from friends and family members.

Nestled in Time was a dream come true for our family! Joanna and Boa have made the experience so easy and they are so good at what they do. I felt so comfortable with the way they handled my energetic 5 year old son. They truly have a way with making kids feel at ease while being photographed. I also was a bit apprehensive about venturing out during COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Joanna and Boa have families safety in mind. What an amazing experience I've had with Nestled in Time! I have book them for many sessions already and the reason why is because they are consistently giving me a fantastic product!!
My maternity shoot was beautiful, though I didn't feel it, Joanna and Bao were able to capture my new mother glow. My photos came out gorgeous! Then my son finally came to join us and we wanted to capture those precious first moments with a traditional photo session with a few improv poses. Which is great because they have wonderful ideas but they never decline the clients creativeness as well.
Holidays came around

5+++Stars! From our initial email conversations, Joanna was a photographer after our own hearts. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan and once I mentioned a Star Wars themed newborn shoot, Joanna and her husband Bao (also fans) went above and beyond to secure the perfect props! First of all, I'd like to say thank you Joanna & Bao for such a great job! I booked Nestled In Time Photography for my maternity and newborn sessions. I couldn't be happier. The photos came out awesome. Joanna & Bao were patient and friendly. They tried their best to make sure everything went smoothly. The price was reasonable as well. Assisted a friend and her newborn along with her toddler a few months ago. Joanna and Bao were more than friendly! There was also water bottles and snacks available during the session.
There are several cute outfits to choose from!
They were able to capture some beautiful super cute photos of the babies!
Would highly recommend their company for any newborn photography. As well as family photography!
