Pacific Wired was founded in 2008 by Chris Hinton and operated as a low voltage contracting company. Based out of Danville CA the company primarily focused on light commercial and mid to high end custom home audio video types of projects which included early forms of smart home products.
In 2014 Pacific Wired recruited a team of highly skilled individuals and successfully expanded into the high voltage and alarm system markets covering the state of California.With a solid background in automation platforms and customer service Pacific Wired can offer truly advanced options for commercial and residential markets.

Pacific Wired has been installing and maintaining all of my Audio Video since 2015. Their customer service, product knowledge and installation quality are exemplary. The scope of their services has ranged from networking, televisions, home automation to a full 11.1 Home Theater with projector and screen. I highly recommend them !!

I purchased my first new TV after 16+ years and had no idea how to hang it or make it talk to Comcast for streaming. Called Pacific Wired for help - they did a perfect job! Listened to my wants/needs and finished everything in just a couple of hours.
Larry came to my house, hung the TV on the wall in the perfect spot (which was different than the spot I was thinking - he was right in the end, so I'm glad I took the suggestion), hooked up a new modem, and communicated with Comcast (one of my dreaded tasks in life) so I didn't need to even deal with that. I'm not a huge fan of a company who's employees (Larry) try to take advantage of senior citizens. My parents (both in their 80's) requested this company to come give a quote to install 3 tv's. Nothing too complicated. Apparently Larry saw a bunch of dollar signs and convinced them they need $5000 dollars worth of extra equipment and labor. I'm just thankful they ran it by me first and I was able to stop it. Shame on you !!!

- let's call them "H". Pacific Wired came in and fixed their
many errors. They NEVER tried to sell me on extra hardware - in fact they were (politely) appalled by some of the excess hardware I had been suckered into buying. Unlike "H" they provide 100% free follow up maintenance / service and are prompt.

Chris and their team just know their stuff. I had five (yes, FIVE) low voltage wiring/home theater installers look at my job and all of them were full of reasons why they had to run cables outside the house. Chris got my job (home theater and sound install plus 20 CAT 6 ports throughout two stories) done invisibility and elegantly.
Every other contractor wanted to punch holes in plaster and leave, with me being responsible for finding a second set of contractors to fix. Chris and his crew patched and painted when

Chris and Larry deserve 5+ for their professionalism, industry knowledge, technology capabilities and attention to detail. After moving to CA we have used them six times and their customer service is exemplary. This is the second time we have used Pacific Wired. The first time we had televisions installed and this time we had them perform a serious update of all of our audio/visual equipment. We had a meeting to discuss what was important to us; what music sources we wanted to use and how to listen to different music in different rooms through installed speakers, where we needed stronger internet signals, and that we wanted front door cameras for extra security. Chris and Larry were terrific setting up a new system for us. I left a message and they responded the next day and were right on the ball setting up an appointment to come out and see what our problem was with our old setup. After much discussion and cost analysis we decided to go with the Sonos system. They ordered the system and came out and set it up and adjusted it for us. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service, or lack thereof, we've received from Pacific Wired. They installed a system which cost us over $3,000 to improve our Wifi. The first time we needed service it took them two weeks to call back, at which time I was told they lost one of their installers and they were very behind. They promised a call back on Monday. Another week went by, and Chris called. By that time, I had hired another Company to do the repairs. Now our Wifi is not working upstairs again. We had our Pioneer Elite receiver die. Desperate we looked to yelp for help. Pacific Wired came right out and evaluated the situation and gave us the bad news...Equipment was old, receiver was fried and wiring was a mess. We could never figure out what cord was going to what...Chris and Larry are amazing. Gave us quotes for several items and phases. We were taken back by the costs initially, but needed our tv back so went with Phase One which was a new receiver, new blu-ray DVD, new wiring (cleaned up the mess), new remote and new power source. Great experience overall. It's hard to find good contractors these days but Chris came in with his assistant and immediately got to work. They installed all 3 of our TV's in various rooms with no mess and configured my home theatre system. They were very professional from start to finish with good pricing for their job. I highly recommend Hinton home Theatre. Most recent was this past Saturday where Chris walked me through some challenges I had with my complicated Denon receiver. We had a party that night and it wasn't working. Chris was able to solve our problem over the phone and get us muisic that night. Incredible service! Where can you get that today?

The owner Chris is solid---he was responsive, on time, neat, and knows his stuff. My first contact with Chris was a return call from him

The first time we called, the Comcast guy was stumped about how to run a cable to the section of our living room where we wanted a TV. I reached Chris and he showed up in our driveway 10 minutes later, while the Comcast tech was still here, so they could collaborate. Chris found the solution and "made it happen" that day.
Chris returned to install our home theater and did a great job for a fair price. He's a good guy, too - young and mellow but experienced
