Since opening a quarter-century ago, we have been lucky enough to grow our practice to include three additional excellent doctors: Rachelle Biondolillo, Jennifer Foster, and Dr. Ghere's daughter, Taylor Ghere. All of our doctors and staff view our work as a calling. We take pride in our work every day and we are thankful to be able to provide assistance to and show compassion for all of our pets and our clients.

Gwen has been with Prytania Vet since we opened in 1992 and has worked in the veterinary field since she was 13 years old. She's worked every position throughout the hospital from kennel to reception and has been the practice manager since 1996. She graduated from UNO with a biology degree. She enjoys working with an amazing group of people and hearing her co-workers singing throughout the hospital and talking to our patients.
Through the American Veterinary Medical Foundation's Veterinary Care Charitable Fund, our hospital is able to help animals rescued from abuse and neglect and the pets of clients facing personal hardships. Your donations to the AVMF on behalf of our hospital will help us help animals. Prytania Veterinary Hospital is excited to support a variety of charitable organizations in our community.
We strive to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in wellness programs have rewards for both pets and owners. Our wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include a comprehensive physical exam, internal parasite testing, vaccination program, heartworm and flea control, and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
Professional cleaning can be important to maintaining your pet's dental health. We use a modern and safe ultrasonic scaler to thoroughly clean each tooth - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth tooth surface more resistant to plaque build-up. More advanced dental care is also available.

Grateful to have found this place for my two cats. One cat just needed a regular annual check up and vaccine update, but my older cat was having GI problems. They have always been able to get me in the next day which is a relief after having dealt with the headache of making appointments for my own healthcare. The vet techs are so sweet and friendly. I have been mostly working with Dr. Matt and he has been amazing checking in on my kitty with follow up phone calls and talking me through the plan of care.

This Vet Hospital is as good as it gets in every way, actually better than any other we've relied upon to care for our 4-legged family members over many decades. But by far the best thing about it is the staff, every single one of them, all of whom you can read about on the web site.
