Our definition of the Balancer: is an individual who is simultaneously balancing the roles of being a parent themselves, a caregiver or is responsible for an elderly parent, while still working in their professional careers. Are you the Balancer of the family? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Check out our podcast below to find out what Home Care Partners can do to support you as you discover YOUR balance in this role.
Our caregivers will be present as a companion to prepare meals, manage laundry, help with light housekeeping, coordinate needed household tasks, and assist in medication reminders. In addition to at home help, our caregivers will assist as a concierge with shopping trips, running errands, medical appointments, and socializing activities to enhance quality of life.
Caregivers provide non-medical assistance such as helping with personal hygiene, laundry, cooking, cleaning, medication reminders and transportation. Fill out the information below to download the Prepare to Care document for information on caregiver resources and planning. You will learn information about starting the conversation, forming the care team, making a plan, and finding support.
What Is an Assessment? An assessment is a comprehensive review of a person's mental, physical, environmental and financial condition. Home care partners were a blessing at a really scary time! My mother fell in January and Karla with her team walked us through our options and gave us a sense of hope and comfort. They provided in home care for 30+ days and mom was able to continue to live on her own. She is back to near normal and we could not be happier with HCP!

Home Care Partners have been invaluable to my family. They are exceptionally well run, have great in-home providers and genuinely care about their clients.
The support of Home Care Partners has allowed my father to age in place in the comfort of his own home. We recommend Home Care Partners highly.

Absolutely the most wonderful in home care either myself or hubby could have asked for....amazing. Every person who came in our home to work a shift and help my hubby in his surgery recovery were amazing. Each one connected with Frank in their own unique way...it was sooo interesting how many personal relationships we connected w/the various team members! Each of the staff offered to do anything to be helpful for myself and or Frank outside of help and care for him. Delightful, kind, well trained, fun...hard working...I can honestly say either of us would highly recommend this group of in home

Owners Karla and Andrew are very pro-active, thorough, safety-forward, and lovely people to get to know. My mother, who has a history of bad balance and falling, has been doing great with their caregivers during the week and it has given me piece of mind while I'm at work to know she is in good hands. They also provide assistance with my mother's 14-year old dog. Home Care Partners also have a care website where I can view which caregiver is coming on what days, and lists what the caregivers have helped my Mom with on a daily basis. I found this a real asset when looking to hire! They have been

My 84 year old mother's journey has not been an easy one. Allowing her to age in dignity and relinquishing my control of trying to make her life what I want it to be was hard. I want her to stay in her home as long as possible as that is what makes her happy. It's been hard to let her make decisions that might not be in her best interest. One of the best decisions we both agreed on was asking for help with Home Care Partners. I expected my mom to complain, that she would find a reason for this not to work. Home Care Partners took a respectful interest in what my mom wanted, what was important to

Home Care Partners of Nebraska has taken care of my dad for the past six months and it has been an outstanding support. While I'm at work I can have confidence that his needs are being met, that he is active, and being taken care of by a staff that's willing to go above and beyond. I appreciate their flexibility and creativity, in scheduling activities that are engaging and that meet the very specific needs my dad has.
