When I arrived, I didn't think the front desk staff was extremely friendly. Additionally, when I was taken back, I was led to the waiting area where I opted not to change into a robe. Then someone came back and told me that if I wasn't going to change into a robe, I would have to wait in the front desk waiting area. Why? I just commented that it seemed weird (like I was being singled out for some reason), and the girl just said, "Sorry. That's what the front desk told me." My first time here and this was the most exceptional service I’ve ever had. I got a therapeutic massage by Eric and he provided the most relaxing, gentle, and truly therapeutic session. He was very soft with every movement and transition. The hot stones were an amazing touch to the service. He spent a very good amount of time in each area. Again, the movements and transitions were so smooth and relaxing. I fell asleep a couple times!
I will definitely be visiting back for Eric! A huge upgrade to other local massage/spa chains

Loved my experience at Rivage! It's a beautiful spa. Every area of the spa was clean, from the bathrooms to the main room. The amenities of the robe and slippers is a nice touch. It's very relaxing and I didn't want to leave the main resting area.
They offer lemon water and Madeline cookies. They really should offer sparkling water and champagne for their guests, just to give it a more luxurious touch.
The massage with Rada was amazing. She was super nice and she really worked on my back. She was very focused and I would request her for every massage.

So let's start with the positives. Nice facility situated on a second floor building in the heart of Birmingham. Easy to find. Nice employees, everything was on time for our appointment. Private locker room was nice and clean. Robe provided was soft and nice. Complimentary water, Keurig pods,tea, and mandolins (I buy the same from Costco) were out for self service.
My massage was nice. I had Renee. She put in effort and gave me a nice massage. She asked me which areas she should focus on and I told her, but have I had better? Yes. I would give her a B rating. She wasted a lot of time stroking

My favorite spa that I have ever been to! I highly recommend. Great massages and excellent facials. The service is top quality. I had my bachelorette party here a couple years ago and it was perfect and everyone loved the ambience, environment, and services. Ask for Connie if looking for a massage, best I have ever had!

The Rivage is an amazing place! My husband and I enjoyed a couple’s massage there. The beauty and ambiance of this place is tasteful, warm, and inviting. It’s clean. The staff was very professional, friendly and hospitable before, during and after our massages. The massage therapists are so skillful and accommodating throughout your entire session. We are still lavishing in the absence of aches and pains in our bodies a week later. This was one of the best massage experiences we’ve ever had! Our next appointment is already booked!

Took my sister for a surprise spa day for her birthday, she absolutely loved it! We each got mani's, pedi's and a hour massage. All the services were spectacular. Najwa (not sure if I spelled it right sorry) was phenomenal and super friendly. Renee (again sorry if spelled wrong) gave the best relaxation massage! Will recommend coming here for any special celebration you or a loved one has!

Great experience for mani and pedi. I have sensitive nails and prefer a more natural shape. It was a wonderful setting and my technician was brilliant, gentle and friendly. The spa is luxurious and very clean. They follow strict Covid protocols which made it even easier to relax. I will be back and will also try other services.

Love love love this place. So CLEAN!! Which is so important to me and I'm sure to many others. My masseuse was very sweet and didn't talk AT ALL during my massage which is also so important (not trying to be rude it's just I'm there to relax). They offer you a nice long robe, slippers and any beverage/snack you'd like. The only downfall are the slippers are rubber and reused by each client which was a bit uncomfortable but no big deal. The prices aren't bad either. This place is great & definitely cant wait until my next appointment.

This is a beautiful spa...upstairs and quiet from the bustle of Birmingham. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the very nice receptionist and sent back for your service. It's a big waiting area with a wall-waterfall against one side of the room and a semi kitchen area on the other side which offers you water and champagne (but you can't get to the champagne-it's locked on the other side and only a therapist can get it for you. It's calm and tranquil. We waited for a few minutes and my therapist came and got me about 7 minutes after my scheduled time (I wasn't crazy

Went in today for me and my husband anniversary. From the moment we walked in customer service was amazing. The robes were luxurious. The waiting area was so calming. Our massage therapist were prompt. Neither one gave their name though. So unfortunately I can't recommend anyone in particular my massage was amazing. My therapist gave lost of pressure. My husband not so much. He said she gave hardly any pressure at all. I would return again because the front desk was so nice. Only thing i did not agree with was they prefer cash which I get but i felt like the lady was a tad nasty when I said

I took my friend here for her birthday— this was our first time and we had a lovely experience. I purchased the Tranquility for Two spa package (50 min massage, delicious lunch, and pedi) and we enjoyed every minute— we didn’t want to leave. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk and given a tour of the facility. The facility has a lot of natural lighting, impeccably clean, beautiful, and serene. I booked a private event room at Rivage Day Spa for my friend's bachelorette party a couple weeks ago, and it was everything we wanted and more! There was a group of 11 of us, all getting any service we wanted. We had access to a private party room where we ate, drank, and hung out. Krista and Carmen were so polite and helpful through the entire… planning process, and day of. Always refreshing our food and drinks, and showing us around the spa. Their customer service is unbelievable and the spa itself is beautiful and relaxing. The prices are very reasonable for a day spa and the service

I really love the days that I get to go see Jessica, I look forward to them very much. She listens to what I tell her are my pain points or issues and she adjusts the massage to fit my needs. She is by far the best massage therapist that I have seen and I highly recommend going to Rivage Day Spa to make you feel great!
