Services
Since 1916, Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel and Crematory has provided caring service to generations of Idaho families. Our reputation is our greatest asset and we will go above and beyond to retain the trust of past and future families in our community. We are dedicated to provide the highest level of service and constantly pursue unique and different ways to help families celebrate the life of their loved one.
Opened in 1916, Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel has provided caring service to generations of Idaho families. During those years, the funeral home has been owned and operated by four Boise families: the McBratneys, the Aldens, the Waggoners, and the Gordons. Alden-Waggoner has chosen not to follow the trend of out-of-state corporate ownership where funeral home profit is the only goal.
At Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel we want to make it easy for you to receive the information that you are seeking without having to have a prearrangement sales person contact you. It is our desire to make this process as simple as possible for you. It has always been our vision to help family members in every way we can.
We are available to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When we hire professionals we seek those who share our philosophy and hire individuals with high ethical standards. We do not hire salesmen and it would never be our intention to pressure you into buying something you did not want. We encourage you to ask questions and understand what is included in all plans.

No one ever wants to have to deal with any death, let alone a sudden one as was the case with my Mother in May. We (me and my siblings) visited Alden-Waggoner the day after my mom passed to set up a memorial service and her cremation per her wishes. We were tended to by Steven Gordon and he so helpful and nice during the whole process. He let us know what choices we had as my mother had not set up anything prior to her death. We held a viewing two days later and it was a beautiful event, considering. I'd like anyone that is put in to an unfortunate circumstance like me to please consider using
