Carmel Auto Contours is owned by two brothers who started in the collision repair business during their high school years buying and repairing totaled cars. After several years of working for others in the automotive industry they decided to open their own business. In 1981 they purchased the property where they are today and opened for business as Carmel Auto Contours, specializing in collision repair.

These guys are awesome. Got me in and out super fast with a quote after getting my car door dinged by another driver. They had no problem issuing the insurance company a $2000 bill and having them mail me a check. They didn’t have to do that, and I really appreciate the cash that will be put toward getting a new car in the near future.

I was recommended to Carmel Auto Contours to fix a dented bumper by my longtime mechanic, whose opinion I hold in very high regard. My interactions were very pleasant, prompt, and professional, and the quality of the work is excellent. I found everyone very accommodating and respectful of my time. Hopefully I won't need to visit a body shop any time soon, but when I do, I'll know where to go.

We were at another nearby autobody shop that had a huge back log, so we swung by to see if this place could get us in sooner. We were "greeted" as if we the gum discovered on the bottom of a shoe. Much more "what are you doing here" rather than "how can I help you". The receptionist then very condescendingly told us that they only do estimates by appointment. This tidbit is not on their website, which we did check before showing up. She then proceeded to tell us they we need to check with our insurance company, because they have preferred dealers. Yeah sweetheart, and you are not required to go

I went in to get a quote for my girlfriends jeep as I had just been to Touch -n-Go two doors down where a gentleman named Chris took the time to discuss the options of repairing the jeep that got hit on the door including possible buff, etc. The guy at Contours did not want to give me the time of day after I told him my girlfriend was OCD and wanted the repair work done even if it was a small job. He told me to do it myself and he wanted nothing to do with any work including writing up the quote. I like to do business with people I like and trust. This guy treated me like I did not matter at all

I am glad I didn't follow the bad reviews.. I had the best service ever. They even returned my rental car for me!! Not too mention that my car looks brand new and he manager gave me various pricing and explained the difference of each one so I could choose ine that fit my budget.

Rick runs a great collision shop. As the parent of 4 children now in their 30s, I know something about the subject. Rick is a straight shooter who won't let you waste your money. I also appreciate the integrity in engaging the insurance companies who want him to install used or remanufactured parts. He simply won't do it. Estimates are accurate and reasonable. Often the final bill is lower. Due to the volume of business and returning satisfied customers, it may take a couple of weeks to get the work scheduled, but it is professionally done and always looks as good as new.

Started with the first impression: waiting room is clean and the lady offered me water and coffee many times. Plenty of magazines and good music. Got my estimate done without an appointment very quickly and received an copy by email without asking.
The Shop Manager - Rick - gave me many options to fix my car that fit my budget and the final result was amazing. You cannot tell an accident ever happened!

The folks at Carmel Auto Contours did an awesome job on my 2014 Ford Fiesta. They fixed the front and back ends in about 2 weeks. The results were amazing..like nothing ever happened. Service is great and they also cleaned the inside of my car. They made me feel very comfortable after all the stress I had been through with my accident. Though I don't wish to be back there (haha), if I do need my car fixed again, C.A.C. is where I'm taking it.

Much like the other "not recommended" review, I found the customer service at this shop is less than acceptable. We were given the name of this shop by someone with many years in the automotive industry in the Indianapolis area. We were told they were the best. Unfortunately, we'll never know.
Four months after initially contacting this shop and getting an estimate from them, we were told today, they don't work on BMWs any more because they are too complicated with all their computers. We need a hood and a bumper cover. Nothing that requires even remotely doing anything

I was definitely turned off after going here.
I pulled into their parking lot at 5:30 not knowing when they closed. One of their employees (maybe owner, I didn't catch his name) was standing outside with another customer. He invited me inside and asked what I needed help with. I told him I had an estimate from my insurance company and was looking to schedule an appointment for the next week. So he mentioned they closed at 5 but would take a quick look in a few minutes after he finished chatting with this other customer and for me to wait outside by my car. So that was perfectly fine
