Sitting by a fire in the cold and damp weather is a real treat. In order to ensure the safety of using your wood fire, make sure to have a glass door installed. A glass door will help to ensure the safety of your family. If you do not have glass door installed in your fireplace you are risking having a spark fly out of the fireplace and start a fire.

We hired their tech, Bryan (and his assistant Patrick) to fix our old gas fireplace that wouldn't turn on. They did a great job, replaced parts, made new ones, even came back out for a checkup we needed. We were satisfied with the quality of their work for the price. HOWEVER, actually getting a hold of them and scheduling an appointment is a MASSIVE undertaking. Be prepared to have your appointment date moved many times, or to have to call them multiple times. But once they do come, they do great work.

If I could give zero I would. I purchased an insert years ago from them. All good. Now I needed a part. Called and left a message. No return call. Called again. Got THE MOST CONDESCENDING sounding person on the planet. Really obnoxious and not patient at all. Said they are understaffed. Now, I needed to get a serial number off the unit for the part. So I called back and left the number from some paperwork I had in a file from when the unit went in. It was apparently off. So he called me back....Mr. Obnoxious condescending impatient guy. He asks me to go and look for the number on the unit. As I

We purchased a gas stove fireplace, years ago, and Taz was sent to install. He was professional and did what he was supposed to. Then, we had a flood in that room and needed someone to remove the stove and reinstall a new one. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to our house. I won't bore you with the annoying details. Here it is, years later and, after a recent rain storm which caused minor flooding in the same room, we need someone to disconnect the stove so that we can pull up the floor underneath the hearth. After endless phone calls to Fireplace Place, and endless promises that they'd

As a first time home buyer, we were very nervous about everything. This store especially John made EVERYTHING so simple to understand and made everything SO clear that i was not nervous about anything no more. John went above and beyond for us explaining every small process and every thing that needed to be done. I could not be more happy with the service nor got the service anywhere else besides from them. John personally went above and beyond for me on the day on the installation and coming to my house the day after the installation and provide some additional items that he did not have to give

Absolutely terrible experience. The staff and the owner of the place are very rude, completely lacking knowledge, literally lying to the customers about the equipment they sell, about the permit status and hiring subcontractors who have no idea what they need to do. Be aware that they sell many fireplaces that missing certain key parts completely and can not be used. You will learn about it only after paying a full price for the non functional fireplace and full installation in your house. All paid and will never work! if you complain , they will scream on you and curse you openly.

I was in the market for a Mendota gas insert and had looked at most of the merchants in the area. The thing that drew me to the Fireplace Place was the price, as they were substantially lower than the others. I met the owner and he eventually came to my house to measure and make suggestions. He gave me the name of a cabinet maker and an electrician which I wound up both using for work around the fireplace. After the preliminary work was done, the Fireplace Place did the fireplace installation quickly and as stated in the contract. I had no issues with anyone in the establishment and they were professional
