I spent my childhood cruising Highway 37 to our family's second home in Port Aransas. We were drawn to this beautiful island community and truly enjoyed everything it had to offer. After graduating Churchill High School in San Antonio, I accepted a scholarship to play D1 NCAA Volleyball at the University of San Diego.

I attained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and in the process, I realized the value in becoming bilingual. After graduation, I moved to Central America for a year to teach English and learn Spanish. The Island continued to call and I found myself back in Port Aransas. Upon returning, I became involved in the family's interior design business.
