Our Mission: WSOC offers a curriculum that meets the students' age-related capacities and fosters in each student a genuine interest in the world, an intellectual curiosity, a connection to the human spirit, and a sense of purpose in life. WSOC has the vision of a world where the sanctity of childhood is protected; the unique gifts of every student are respected; and graduates courageously embrace the future as engaged global citizens.

Waldorf School of Orange County is committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive educational community. Our highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility - these three forces are the very nerve of education.
Services
Waldorf School of Orange County (WSOC) invites you to explore the Waldorf curriculum from early childhood through high school. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive education that engages the child cognitively, actively and emotionally. We recognize and welcome the unique gifts brought by each child we serve, encourage independent thinking and imagination, and foster a life-long love of learning.
Since its inception in 1919, Waldorf education has become one of the largest private, non-profit, non-denominational, independent K-12 systems in the world, with over 1,000 schools in 83 countries. Waldorf education was developed in Europe by Rudolf Steiner, who was a great visionary, educator and scientist.
We at Waldorf School of Orange County support the statement of equity and inclusion put forth by the Associated Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). We denounce social injustice in all its forms. We condemn racism, intolerance of people's gender identities or sexual orientations, religious intolerance, bigotry, xenophobia, and all forms of injustice and expressions of inequality.
The Waldorf School of Orange County is accredited by both the Accrediting Commision for Schools Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) and The Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Both of these organizations have conducted independent reviews of WSP and concluded that we have met our goals in providing a high-quality education.

Both my kids attend the school and they are so excited for school every day. There is a supportive community and the teachers really do care for the kids.

We've been at Waldorf School of Orange County for 3 years now and absolutely love this school. Their Early Childhood department is outstanding and is the perfect place for our daughter. She would love to go to school seven days a week if we'd let her. But that is to be expected when your child gets to experience a school like this. The school is situated on the most fantastic location, right on the bluffs over a large nature preserve and park. Which the children get to explore when they leave the classroom and go on walks. The teachers are amazing too, sure they have years of training and experience
