we planned a surprised birthday party for our son in ASU and ordered cake with her. Specially requested her to provide us details when it is delivered, send us a picture... She will not respond or send any information...
We were not there so need to ask our son to track things down. it just ruined the entire surprise.
Only good part is that Cake looks good. exactly as we expected. but the overall experience is so bad....

Ordered a 8" cake that feeds 10-15 people, for my sons birthday party that had 12 guests. There was still some leftovers and everyone enjoyed the cake asking me where I got it. Carol did a great job and made the process easy, communicating with what we wanted. Sadly I forgot the cake topper she gave us and candles luckily the place had extra (rainbow) candles for us to use . Lol. My son loved it. I'll definitely go back for future cakes.

I was referred to Carol and sugarbuzz cakes by another very professional baker who could not fill my order in the short time I had requested. Due to COVID a little 3 year old was stuck at my home in Gilbert AZ. I called Carol on Monday for a cake to be picked up on Friday (in the middle of crazy busy December). Carol asked me a few questions and then went to work and said "I will make this happen for you". I went to pick up the cake on Friday and it was absolutely incredible! I was amazed and astonished at the speed, courtesy, craftsmanship and professionalism in which I observed and received.

She was in love and it was sad to cut into the cake because it was so beautifully designed, but the cake was delicious so we were fine lol. I had a verbal conversation and sent pictures to let Carol know what I was looking for and she delivered far above my expectations. I am beyond pleased with the cake and service of this business. I can't speak highly enough of the cake, the customer service, and the great feeling I got when my son saw his special graduation cake! I ordered the cake in advance after reading reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. Carol is an amazing talent, and like her cakes and cupcakes, she's a very sweet woman. My son's graduation cake was perfect and tasted delicious. I also got cupcakes along with it, and she customized those to perfection as well. I will definitely be ordering again in the future!

The first one was for my daughter birthday and this most recent one was for her graduation. The design was gorgeous, the details impeccable, the taste delicious! Omg. The cakeee was to die for. Carol was very sweet and accommodating. She made all the changes I asked for and the cake came out absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It tasted as good as it looked even though it was so pretty I didn't want to cut it. She communicated with me in a timely fashion and had the cake ready right on time!!

I gave 2 stars because the cake was ordered 7 days in advance and she was able to accommodate, she's very friendly, good customer service.
The cake was gorgeous, she has a lot of talent, however I ordered a 1/4 sheet and received a round cake, and on one side of the cake was supposed to have polka dots in peach, instead it had a wedding look. I'm pretty easy going so I didn't say anything, it was still very pretty.
Upon cutting the cake it seemed the frosting under the fondant was not thick enough to support its weight and the sides collapsed with each piece cut, the cake was okay in the middle

Sugar Buzz cakes is the best place to get cakes in the valley!! I've tried tons of other bakery's in the past but nothing compares to the cuteness and deliciousness of Sugar Buzz. I had a gender reveal party yesterday and EVERYONE loved the cake. It tied all the decorations together, and was the cutest of them all!
Carol is amazing! She always responds quickly and brings my ideas to life. Paying online was super easy and convenient, and pick up was very quick and simple.

Carol made me the most beautiful twin baby bum cake for my baby shower. I could not have been more happy! Not only did it look beautiful the fondant , and buttercream frosting was absolutely delicious! The cake was moist and yummy. Her prices are very reasonable & would use her again in a heart beat!

Sugarbuzz EXCEEDED my expectations! Carol the owner/baker does magnificent work!! I sent her a few pictures of what I wanted and what she made turned out better than what I sent her! It was unreal! And to top it off the cake tasted amazing!! It was fresh and moist! And her fondant was delicious too. Most fondant doesn't taste that great but hers was a perfect compliment to the cake itself. My sons cake was vanilla cake with banana cream filling. There wasn't any cake left after the party!

Carol is as good as it gets as far as custom cakes. I called all around to bakeries in Scottsdale, Chandler, Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, and Tempe. Many of them were booked due to weddings and others were so extremely expensive (upwards of $250). I called one bakery who was booked and they actually recommended me to Carol. I knew she had to be good if another cakery was recommending me. We worked for about a month or so creating the perfect cake for my Dad's 60th birthday. I saw ideas on her website and I contacted her directly to see if she could do more of what I was picturing. We continued
