Dermatology Associates has served the Greater Louisville community for over 25 years. Conveniently located in the east end of Louisville, we are a full-service dermatology practice dedicated to providing solutions for all of your skin care needs. We specialize in diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
All physicians in our practice are Fellows of the American Academy of Dermatology and are certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Our physicians provide adult and pediatric dermatology, as well as surgery for both benign and malignant skin lesions. Dr. West performs Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced surgical technique for completely removing skin cancers with the smallest possible scar.

Services
There is a traffic light at the end of the ramp. Turn left at the traffic light onto Cannons Lane and travel approximately.8 mile to the traffic light (you will be able to see our building on the right prior to approaching the light, however there is no access from Cannons Lane). At the light, turn right onto Dutchmans Lane and travel.1 mile then immediately turn right onto Klempner Way.

Medical dermatology specializes in diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. We treat a full spectrum of conditions and diseases involving all aspects of the skin. Our office is also able to provide on-site phototherapy (UVA, UVB) and photodynamic therapy (PDT) also known as Blue Light to treat conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and pre-cancerous changes in the skin (actinic keratosis).
Dermatology Associates provides both medical and aesthetic cosmetic dermatology. We have a comprehensive cosmetic skin care center staffed by our physicians and two full time licensed estheticians. Our center offers an extensive selection of cosmetic services that can be coordinated with your medical skin care for healthy, youthful skin.
Our office provides comprehensive surgical care for dermatological conditions. We perform surgery for both benign and malignant skin lesions, growths, and moles. All of our board-certified dermatologists are experienced and have expertise in advanced dermatologic surgery. Additionally, Dr. Andrew West performs Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced surgical technique for removing skin cancers with minimal scars.

Highly recommend Dermatology Associates. Nursing staff is kind and knowledgeable. Doctors Loveless and West are awesome! They have performed several procedures on my husband for skin cancer. They always carefully explain what they are going to do beforehand. I completely trust their skill and expertise. The doctor always calls personally the same evening to check in with us! Not the nurse, but the doctor himself! He will follow up with repeated phone calls if necessary. Who does that anymore? Have friends who have shared the same experience. It can sometimes be difficult to find a doctor you are

I had IPL laser treatment for my broken blood vessels in my face. The lady doing the treatments was not very experienced using the machine and could not find the correct settings. One visit the settings were up so high I had bruising in my face for a week. But the worst of all was she zapped my beard area and I have not had hair growth on huge patches of my face even 3 years later. Be aware

Met with Courtney in the skin care center. She provided very candid and thoughtful advice on my skin care goals. She was extremely professional and provided recommendations but did not try to sell products or treatments. At the end of the consult, she provided samples of products and took time to type up her recommendations. Tremendously helpful. I've been seeing the physicians at Dermatology Associates for skin care for many years and found them and their staff to be very professional and friendly.

Staff was friendly and competent. Instructions for follow-up care were clear, but difficult to actually carry out. Later the evening of the surgery, the wound started bleeding and I didn't know what to do since that was never discussed and it was after-hours and I was a 5-hour trip away from the office. I still like and trust the medical group very much.

This office is mean and inefficient. Every appointment has been at least 40 mins late. Plus the staff has been very rude and disrespectful to me. After asking me the two prescreening questions, the nurse slammed the door on her way out and yelled, “well that girl has an attitude problem.” I could hear her continuously yell disrespectful things about me from the other side of the door. The treatments didn’t work from me and I did not like the way the staff talked to me. I will never attend this establishment again.
