Services
I graduated from Dental College in 1995 and have been practicing Dentistry over the last 20 plus years. The opportunity to put a smile on a patients' face is a very rewarding experience for me. I started my dental education in India and practiced dentistry in Mumbai before coming to the US for my graduate degree.
Jenny has worked in the office for the past 8 yrs. She is a Food Science and Human Nutrition minor, graduated with honors from the University Of Hawaii School Of Nursing and Dental Hygiene in 1987 and has over 20 years of experience. Currently, she is in a postgraduate course at UOP Dental School in SF to further her education.
Dr. Sonia Raina works constantly to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care. Dr. Raina uses the latest techniques and remains deeply committed to developing new and better ways to protect your teeth and gums. The tour of our office begins in the reception area where you will be greeted by our friendly front office staff, who will assist you with your appointment paperwork. Our operatory rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art dental technology and are cleaned and sterilized after each patient. Once seated, we invite you to sit back and relax.
Our office uses the latest in digital x-ray technology. Digital x-rays offer a detailed image of your entire mouth and also deliver 70% less radiation than traditional film x-rays. We place a small sensor in your mouth and then an x-ray beam is sent through your teeth and bone and onto the sensor, which records the image of your teeth and bone and sends it to the computer.

Dr. Raina and her team are great! They are professional and accommodating. I'm probably not the easiest patient to work with because I get anxious and can be high maintenance. Dr. Raina keeps me calm because she has a peaceful demeanor and is understanding and thorough. She talks me through exactly what she's doing and why.
I leave the office more relaxed than when I arrived and more informed as to what's going on with my teeth.
I will be a long term patient and I highly recommend Dr. Raina.

Dr. Raina and her staff are so stellar! First of all, I have a lot of dental issues..crowns and fillings galore and I’m a young woman. I had a horrible dentist when I lived elsewhere that really messed my teeth up and Dr. Raina fixed everything. She keeps a keen eye on my problem areas and makes conservative recommendations. I trust her implicitly. Her staff is also amazing. She does not “upsell” me on unnecessary procedures or the latest trend. She sincerely cares about my health and I notice it!! Dr. Raina, her office manager Lauren and the rest of her wonderful staff helped to save my Hawaii vacation when other dentists would only take my money and do nothing! I couldn't believe it! My vacation was less than a week away and I had developed a terrible and painful infection due to one of my molars coming in at a very hard angle- it was awful! I can only say that I am so thrilled to have Dr. Raina as my new dentist. She worked on two cavities that were in my incisors and filed a front tooth that chipped due to fissures in the tooth itself. She is efficient; yet takes the time to explain her procedures and answer your questions; funny, informative and I have a brand new smile; which is great as I was self-conscious about the cavities that were evident in my top front teeth. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Anyone looking for a great dentist in Southern Marin, go to Dr. Raina. You will not be sorry.
