A Lake Minnetonka cruise is a great way to spend a day for a company event! We are conveniently located just off Highway #7 in Excelsior Minnesota; just a quick 20-minute drive from downtown Minneapolis, 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul just past Highway #101 intersection in Minnetonka. Lake Minnetonka weddings, special occasions, and corporate events are our specialties!
Elvis is in the building! For just a few days out of the year, we host this very special performance of the 90 Memories of Elvis show right on our cruise. Join us as we glide around Lake Minnetonka and enjoy all the best songs by the King. Your cruise includes a delicious dinner and cash bar. It's the perfect night out for dinner and a show.
Our cruises go out rain or shine. If weather is severe, it is at the Captain's discretion whether we leave the dock or return early as a safety measure. Time at the dock is the same as cruising time. Public Cruises: Must be cancelled 24 hours or more before departure time for a full refund. We cruise rain or shine.

First time cruising with Wayzata Bay Charters. We were excited for the special July 4th Fireworks Cruise but will likely look into other options for 2022.
NOTE: Parking near the dock was extremely limited with no reserved area for cruise guests. We got lucky but I would highly recommend arriving 45 minutes prior to boarding to secure a spot and be able to hoof it over to the pier in time.
The boats were loaded at 28 passenger capacity, which afforded ample space for all the groups to comfortably spread out/find seating.
The dessert offerings were dismal, not restocked/refreshed throughout the

Wow captain Aaron is so so much fun and very popular with the ladies. Very many attractive ladies by his side at all times, and it's easy to see why. He looks so cool and majestic at the ship's helm, it suits his confident and equanimous demeanor. I've heard rumors that captain Aaron has fended off sharks with his bear hands. If I were a shark, I would probably retreat in fear at the sight of captain Aaron's strong, manly arms. His other skills include bear wrestling and carpentry, which he is very skilled at. All that to say these were good charter cruises.

Our Office booked Wayzata Bay Charters for our Summer office outing. This was by far the BEST outing we have had. Captain Aaron and Josh were fantastic. I recommend Wayzata Bay Charters to everyone and tell them they have to ask to have Aaron and Josh. From the food, drinks, tour, and boat everyone was 10/10! Thank you for the best time ever!!

We did the Bachelorette Package #2 and rented the Elixir for 5 hours with unlimited margaritas & champagne. The margaritas were hand made every time & were amazing!
Captain Wiggins, Josh & Aaron were SO SO SO FUN to have on board & helped us with anything we requested or needed. They truly made our experience a 10/10. I would rent this again in a… heartbeat for another party because it was just so fun & perfect. Kim, who signs you in & helps with questions at the dock ROCKED, she was so fun & nice and was just as excited for our party as we were. Cannot rave about
