Camelot Apartments

Overpriced rent, poor management, poor maintenance. A tree fell on our neighbors car because they didn’t properly take care of it and it sat on their car for 2 days. Its a hit or miss whether your got package notifications. They painted over all the outlets, paint on the floor. Most of the outlets don’t work. They forced us to sign the lease and pay the security deposit and first rent before we could walk through the property.

The have really bad roaches. Super disgusting. AC units need to be updated but are not. You end up spending more on electric. They are always having problems with tree branches falling because they don’t do normal maintenance and hire tree service. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

I wouldn’t even waste your time. The people in the office are such a joke. They only look out for themselves. The are over charging me, and pretty much disregarding the form they had me signed. If you do move here be careful, they will have people randomly unlocking your apartment and entering.

I moved to Camelot in February 2020; price is a little high for the Yuma Area. There needs to be lots of renovations. Seems like they keep putting the renovations off, lots of patches in the walls, and they use paint on the counters which peel when they are wet, old AC units, lots of sewer roaches and regular little roaches, paint splatters on the laminated floor, like they rush on regular maintenance when people move out, my problem right now is they can’t keep up on regular maintenance in the complex ( lots of broken tree, and broken lights, very dark apartment complex) . One of the nicer apartments to live in Yuma but the office associates lack so much professionalism. The lady in the office Dawn allowed one of the maintenance workers to enter my apartment when I was sleeping. Scared me so bad; Dawn never asked me if he could let himself in. On top of that Dawn didn’t let the maintenance worker know that I had dogs in the apartment. Which one was a pitbull. Dawn always went back and forth and changed her words according to the situation. Horrible experience. Don’t waste your time and money. It might seem like the better end of the stick but it’s not worth it. Lots of bugs coming for the vents. No matter how many times you spray. The apartment complex needs to be updated on many things. The covered parking spots are not made for handicapped. Cant get a wheel chair between the parking spots. The dumpsters are always over flowing and the trash never gets picked up. The over water the grass so there is mud everywhere!!! And flies EVERYWHERE!!! Hated living with the roaches. Worst experience ever.

Lived here for about a year and a half. The backside of the apartment complex is very trashy. They don’t keep it up to date. Up by the office is in way better shape. They like to disregard contracts they have you signed. If you move here pay close attention to Dawn and the Manager Nicole in the office.

In my opinion, Camelot Apartments is probably the nicest looking apartment complex in Yuma. You’re given plenty of space, you have washer and dryer hookups, you have assigned parking, there are 2 dog parks, and there are 2 swimming pools. However, it is very import to understand that the previously mentioned niceties will only mask the “crappy” vibe of Camelot so much.
Apartment Flooring:
When you first walk into the apartment, you will be amazed at the beautiful wood flooring, BUT don’t fall for it. The flooring is the equivalent of wall-paper. It will tear easily, and Camelot will charge

I lived at Camelot for one year; overall it's a safe and quiet apartment complex, and the ladies in the office are very nice.
But I have to say that it seems like it could use some updates and renovations; the stucco on the outside of the buildings has been re-patched often and the A/C units are are old and look like they are falling apart.
The rent is high for Yuma, and I expected nicer appliances at least.
My apartment had old appliances and a leaky bathtub when I moved in. They patched up the bathtub, but for some reason still charged me for damages even though it was like that when I moved

Wonderful place to rent and stay! I had a great experience with Camelot Apartments, the apartments were beautiful and up to date. The most impressive part of all was how great the staff here is, Nicole is a top notch manager and all the staff from the front office to the grounds crew is great. Whenever we had a problem it was addressed that same day. 5/5 stars would recommend and stay again!
