Our fresh water cooling pump failed, while cruising the ICW and we found ourselves stranded in Titusville. Melbourne Marine Diesel was recommended by another shop. Dennis ordered our part and Colby delivered and installed it. Very professional, customer service oriented people and a pleasure to do business with.

Amazing mechanics!! We were in Cape Canaveral and needed our engines serviced, and ended up needing to have an alternator replaced. Devon overnighted the part, and had it installed in less than 24 hours!! Plus, he helped us solve a grounding issue that has allowed us to charge our batteries without problem. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs a true and honest mechanic. They did such good work that we will sail back to them for any future repairs that are needed.

Had a problem with a raw water pump. Called them up, they had a mechanic on site in 90 minutes (including a 45 minute drive) who quickly sized up the problem(s) and ordered a new pump. Pump arrived the next day, got installed, and we are on our way again. Fast, quality service. Also courteous and followed all social distancing guidelines. Very happy. Would recommend without reservaton.

I contacted Melbourne Marine Diesel with an exhaust hose issue that needed prompt attention this issue became evident during a pre purchase survey. Dave responded to the boat within hours, diagnosed (confirmed) the problem and ordered the parts necessary. The repairs were completed in a timely manner, the technicians that handled the repairs were… very professional. The care showed to the boat was above and beyond. Padding was placed along the Teak and Holly surfaces to protect the finish during the repairs. Thank you Dave for handling this repair, allowing the sale of the vessel to go forward

They helped us with a very difficult engine/shaft alignment where the engines had been installed with the alignment bolts cemented with red Locktite. These had to be broken free with an induction bolt heater to perform the alignment. The job required lifting the engines to get at the mounts. They soldiered through and made quick work of a job that many other mechanics would have turned down because of the difficulty. These guys are awesome!

David is a professional. We had an electrical issue that morphed into a complete engine replacement. During what would become a four month experience due to a Volvo strike and consequent rarity of necessary parts David kept us informed; and he returns calls and texts in a very timely manner. Additionally after the job is done he makes sure we are happy with his work and makes very clear he wants to hear from us should we have a question or mechanical need.
