We want the coaching, the whole process.
And that process is really important. There needs to be more focus on what you say when you point your foot and what you say in your transition steps. There just isn't the rehearsal time to break it down. En Avant Foundation was spawned from defining a need and creating a tangible initiative with an additional focus on mentoring young dancers.

Services
The goal of "En Avant" is to reaffirm the importance of quality, integrity, musicality and artistic meaning in classical ballet, thus achieving excitement in performance. The utilization of former leading dancers, other artists and related professionals who epitomize excellence, will be called upon within a caring environment to provide specialized coaching in master classes and in workshops in order to achieve that goal.
Master classes take place regularly with eminent artists from the opera or theatre passing their knowledge to the younger generation. We feel that there are highly skilled, yet under utilised, ballet master teachers who are qualified, by virtue of their brilliant careers, to coach and teach.
What we offer by playing host to some of the biggest names from the ballet world is a supplement to work already taking place and is not meant as a replacement to the process that occurs in the studio with your teacher and within companies.With our Master Classes and Workshops, En Avant Foundation can offer something unique; access to other experts involved in the ballet.

An important aspect of En Avant Foundation is the awarding of scholarships to enable further studies of classical ballet to talented individuals based on need and prodigy. The scholarship is an ongoing scholarship for artistry.
In addition to the $1000 that Nancy Sutherland has provided for this continuing scholarship, Graeme Murphy and Janet Vernon have contributed another $1000 for this year (2016) so the total is a generous $2000.00 in honour of Kelvin Coe.YUMIKO is known worldwide for its handmade, high performance, custom dance and fitness apparel.
