Elite Ballet Theatre is one of Southern California's premiere ballet schools focused on classical ballet training. Elite Ballet Theatre, founded in 2003, is one of the top ballet schools in Southern California. With a grand, full length ballet performance annually at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, students are able to experience classical ballet in a professional setting-from the costumes to the choreography to the backdrops, all are enriched by this learning environment.Our primary location is in Temple City.

Our school is dedicated to the growth of artists. We hope to foster technical and artistic maturation by providing classes that teach more than just dance technique. Through teaching ballet, we strive to instill poise, confidence, and discipline to the students so that the work ethic gained from dance can be carried into the various walks of their lives.
The Pre-Professional Division is for students who have taken a serious interest in ballet, would like to participate in our annual performances, audition for summer intensives with professional ballet companies, and compete in competitions at both the national and international level. Some of these students include those who are in ballet 5/company.
Classes are directed at learning classical ballet repertoire, based on the Vaganova technique-a foundation that is needed for all types of dance. It is not only the hardest, but also the most beautiful out of all types of dance. Students are required to take at least one placement class and one technique class per week.

Our curriculum follows a traditional Vaganova (Russian) syllabus. We train all of our faculty members to make sure that their teachings are consistent with our syllabus and mission statement.
Elite Ballet Theatre is proud to be the only dance studio in the area who performs only full-length story ballets using both the original choreography and music. Each year, we perform at the historical San Gabriel Mission Playhouse. We provide students with classical ballet costumes, made the traditional way.

I wouldn’t recommend this school, because my daughter who has some experience in ballet was going to be place with “ beginners “. The teacher and his wife had extremely bad attitude, they wanted to charge me money that I didn’t owe. They talked to me in a very condescending manner and embarrassing me and my daughter in front of the class . The teacher and his wife lacked self control and were very rude and argumentative. The teacher is very unprofessional, lacks manners and treats students in demeaning way .
