Services
A professional seamstress offering custom sewing services since 1990, Janee's Originals has created, altered, and tailored garments for clients both local and from far away. Specialties include bridal alterations and restyling bridal gowns, and creating christening gowns from wedding gowns, in addition to fitting, design and custom garmentmaking.
An initial email exchange is helpful to discuss custom garment construction, or to get information on what's involved in fitting a special gown for alterations. Appointments are taken on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and alternate Saturdays. When you request an appointment, please let us know what day(s) and time(s) of day are best for you.
The Association of Sewing and Design Professionals is a an international organization of individuals engaged in both commercial and home-based sewing- and design-related businesses. Providing education, networking opportunities, and design challenges for those professionals and design students, is part of the association's mission.

Janee's Originals is the absolute best place for alterations! My wedding dress needed to be hemmed and a bustle added - she did an amazing job! The hem looks like it was made for the dress and the bustle is so subtle you can barely even see it. She is so incredibly knowledgeable, talented, and friendly.
