Terrific place for lunch. Big emphasis on Greek cuisine but traditionalAmericanfare also on menu. Food always fresh and well cooked, arriving at your table hot and ready to enjoy. Full service bar. Friendly professional service. Highly recommend

Nice place serving up good Greek food. Not a big place but parking is available and the patio appears to be an option in the summer months.

Chicken souvlaki dinner entree was great. Good portion size, chicken was juicy and the vegetables grilled to perfection. The table bread was rock hard but not a deal breaker because the food and wine list is great.

I'll be back to try the rice pudding.

UPDATE: Fourth visit has cost this place a star. Yes, it's a busy Veteran's Day lunch--which they seemed unprepared to handle. It's when the going gets tough that good places shine but they didn't. Service was exceedingly slow. Then the entree' came out before the salad. The lamb was fatty and tough. Definitely not a $22 lunch. The side of potatoes reeked of excess lemon. At a table of four next to us, one person got their food while the others waited. Never seen that happen.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: Only been here twice, but each time the food was very good. Paul's also seems to find the nicest servers

Paul's Homewood Cafe is truly a gem. A colleague and I decided to try Paul's for lunch and enjoyed everything about our visit including our exceptional wait staff--I had no idea Paul's served Mediterranean fare until I opened the link and so happy I did.
I ordered the Greek Appetizer Sampler with the vegan Dolmades. I didn't love the vegan Dolmades because I didn't care for added raisins but everything else was amazing! The Spanakopita was some of the best ever, the Hummus and Tzatziki with pita, all wonderful!
My lunch partner ordered the Caesar salad and scallops appetizer

I was happy with my meal.
Just avoid going for special occasion if you can.
Price is doubled for the same meals you get on any other days.
Went for Valentine's Day and experienced price shock first hand.

After attending a training in Annapolis one of my coworkers recommended coming here for lunch. It was my first time but definitely not my last! Everything was delicious. I started with an unsweetened iced tea and a cup of the lemon orzo soup. I then had the chicken souvlaki platter that came with rice and a side Greek salad. I ended up taking the side Greek salad home since the server brought it out a little late and I was pretty full by that point. My coworkers has the gyro with french fries. The server was attentive and we had everything we needed. There is parking behind the restaurant. I will

Let me start off by saying that this is one of the top restaurants in Annapolis Maryland!! I had never been here in my 33 years in Annapolis and all my friends said go so I went!!!!!
I started with the chicken orzo soup which was outstanding! You have to try the Oysters Rockefeller which was fresh and released many flavors!
The highlight of my meal was Salmon Chipotle Salad which has to be the best salmon I have EVER had!!! The service was outstanding and I am now hooked on Paul's Homewood Cafe and will be back many, many times!

Paul’s is one of only a handful of reliably great restaurants in Annapolis. Fresh, tasty ingredients, excellent service where they treat you like people, cute and relaxing outdoor patio, solid wine and drink options, and reasonable prices. My current favorite is the gyro. They currently offer curbside take-out which is convenient. Super nice people, too.

Amazing. I used their catering menu for my family and friends Easter dinner. We had a Greek feast. The dishes were all made to put in the oven to heat up. We had the lamb kabobs, spanakopita, dolmotas, and Greek salads from Paul's. My friend, who is Greek, brought her Mousakka. It was delicious. The staff made it very easy to order, pick up and prepare. Thank you!

I also have gotten take out from them during the pandemic and eaten in the restaurant when they reopened. Every time it has been a great experience.

Came here for a Saturday evening dinner with my husband. My favorite part about this place is that it is away from all the other restaurants and has its own parking. Has a small bar. Greeted warmly and seated right away. Private party upstairs and about half the tables filled when we sat down, yet not as loud as a lot of others have stated in their reviews. Very friendly and attentive waiter but could do better with his personal appearance. Menu had food stains. Food wise, it was a refreshing change from the typical Annapolis fare. Dolmas and spanakopita were good. Lamb shank was a bit dry but

Slightly outside of the downtown area but completely worth the walk from our hotel. Service and food was outstanding. They carefully accommodated celiac Annie and even brought out the soy sauce to show us that the scallops appetizer would be safe for her consumption. She had the filet mignon and I had the lamb shanks. We sampled several drinks and even had dessert. Awesome experience and they didn't balk to seat our 3yo son. The appetizers were the highlight of our meal.

Very nice and clean, moderately priced restaurant in Annapolis. I would call this a hidden gem, off the beaten path before you get into the craziness of downtown Annapolis.

Chef has an eclectic palate. Greek specialties mixed with some Maryland favorites makes this place a great seafood/Greek/Naptown mashup.

I had a beautiful Paul's Greek salad with grilled scallops.

The salad was cold and crisp with tomatoes, cucumbers, mixed greats and a few other nice veggies.

The dressing is house made and is the perfect pair for the salad and the scallops. It is sweet and sour with a beautiful

Delicious food as always! Love the seafood platter here. It never disappoints. This restaurant has a lovely outdoor dining area during COVID. Paul's has the best staff and food in town. If you're thinking about going out to dinner or lunch during COVID, this is the place to go. The outdoor dining area is very cute with plants and flowers and distances enough so it's safe. Help this restaurant during this difficult time and also help yourself because the food is GREAT!! As always the Greek salad is delicious and so is the spanakopita.

I've driven by this restaurant so many times for so many years and am now mad at myself for not stopping in sooner! First of all, just by the name, I would have never guessed it was a Greek restaurant! Yes, Greek...and my gyro was delicious, as well as, the steak sandwich my mother had for lunch.

Nice little restaurant on the other side of the hotel. Almost missed this wonderful establishment. The service was fast and thorough and atmosphere was fantastic. The flavor was too Greek for my own liking, but won't hold personal taste against this restaurant.

Great Greek and Great Service! I was in town for business and came to Paul's for a quick lunch. I sat at the counter and ordered the spanikopita with a side Greek salad. The restaurant was very busy, every table was taken but the bartender, who I think is Paul's granddaughter and owner, took my order and even offered me samples of the soups.

I came back again the next day as I was still in town and knew it would be reliable and had already become a regular, I was greeted by name and she knew my order from before! Regardless, the spanikopita is great, very filling but not loaded with

We had recently tried Paul's for brunch and were planning on going back when our plans unexpectedly changed. We decided to try to go for dinner the night before. Unable to get a reservation we attempted to call en route but were put on hold the entirety of our trip there. We decided to try our luck and even though they were very busy we were able to get what was as far as we could tell was the last table. Reservations are definitely needed on weekend nights, especially if you have a kid like we did.

The service was good but not great. They were very busy so it did take a while to order

This restaurant is near our home. Other than Greektown, this is the best Greek food in the area. The wine list is good and staff is always attentive. Parking is easy because they have a lot. This is not always the case in the Annapolis area...so a BONUS!

As to the food! It is delicious...there are often specials and you cannot go wrong. I never hesitate to try something new, because I am never disappointed.
