Danny is seriously the most honest mechanic I have ever been to. Both my husband and I take our cars to him, as do both my parents. He is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled and has always done a professional job on all our cars. I brought my car in because it was shaking upon acceleration, he test drove it (but of course it didn't shake when he drove it). He put it up on the lift, checked things out, kept it overnight and test drove it a second time the next day, and again it didn't vibrate during the test drive. I inherited Danny. I bought a used MBZ SUV from the original owner and Danny's Newport Autotech Center sticker was in the upper corner of the windshield. I called Danny while I was on a test drive. He knew the car; knew the history; knew the owner. He told me the car was in perfect running condition because that's how the owner kept this car and his previous MBZ's. Danny owns and races MBZ's. Danny from Newport Autotech is a life saver. I was in a perplexing situation where I had been scammed on a car I had bought, and he was able to fix everything in a timely manner.

It's hard to find an honest mechanic but Danny is as professional and fair as it gets. We have been using him for years now and have recommended him to our friends and family and now we all use him. Danny is awesome over there. Had kind of a complicated situation/problem and he was a huge help with it. Solid stand up guy, will take my cars there whenever they need work. Would definitely recommend him and the staff over there for anything you need. Super honest and helpful, and I'll send my friends an family here for sure.

I had a recall for my toyota matrix air bag at the dealership. The dealership did a routine inspection and gave me a report saying all kinds of things my car neeeded for a whooping $1,658...!!!!! So i went to my trusted mechanic Danny where he tells you honest truth on what you need.... NO B.S.! Dropped it off in the morning and my car was ready by the time i got out of work. Im HAPPY, my WALLET is HAPPY and my car is even HAPPIER... !!!!!!

Danny is a wonderful mechanic and made the whole experience of having my Land Rover start breaking down on me a lot less stressful. I started coming a year ago and was perfered from my Aunt Gloria who knew Danny for many years. This shop is one of the best shops in costa mesa. Danny is real honest and keeps his word, a couple of occassions I brought my mercedes to him, cause I am a worried ward and Danny was always so honest and told me what needed to be done and what not to be done. My entire family has been taking our cars to Danny for many many years he is the BEST!! I am single and my boys are grown with families of their own and moved away so Danny is my to to guy for all of my vehicle needs. Once on business I was out in Barstow and my radiator icon came on the dash I called him and he walked through what to do. I have never been overcharged, Danny is more than fair and will always be honest about what your repair maybe, etc... Danny is the only mechanic in the area I trust. I was referred to him by a coworker and now about half of my office brings their cars to him. He is very professional and a VERY trustworthy guy. Last time I was dropping my car off, an old lady came in with a taillight out. Danny popped out the taillight while she was in the car and sent her off without charging her a cent. I grew up on the East coast with a mechanic in the family. When I moved out here I went to 3-4 different places and without any success. I am beyond glad I was recommended to Danny and won't bring my car to anyone else.

Danny is A-maz-ing!!! I thought I needed at least new brake pads, if not rotors. I called him yesterday and since tomorrow wouldn't work for me he squeezed me in today. Since I didn't have a ride homeand need one, he gladly took me. Then after only a few hours I got a call that he was finished. And my brakes were fine afterall. No tough sells, nothing. He also took the time to explain to me what caused the noise, and how to know when I would need new brakes. And he did that all for FREE! I didn't know there were any honest mechanics left, but there's definately one here!

He'll check everything out and won't do anything shady.
He isn't open on weekends ( i found out a lot of good places aren't)
But you can drop your car off at night and he has a key drop.
He isn't the cheapest....but you can feel comfortable that the job was done right.
He works on all sorts of cars, but he specializes on German cars. He has a mechanic there that used to work at VW. So I take my VW Passat there for all its work. Although in the past I've taken my Honda and Infiniti in there as well.
