At Mountains To Sea Inspections we have 100's of items on our home inspections checklist that we inspect for during the course of an inspection. The only limitation to our home inspections is that we can only inspect what is visible. State regulations will not allow us to deconstruct any part of a structure and we can not move personal property such as furniture, area rugs, personal belongings, etc.
Lets face it, Radon Gas and its impacts are well documented and more home owners and home buyers in the Asheville and Boone areas are becoming aware of how easy it is to perform radon testing. They are also becoming more aware of the treatments and radon mitigation services for removing, or at least lowering, the levels of this very harmful gas.
Well Water and other sources such as Spring Fed Reservoirs can become contaminated at any time without your knowledge. Regular well water testing or spring water testing is the only way that you can assure a clean supply of drinking water from these sources.

At Mountains To Sea Inspections we feel strongly that homes last longer and perform better if they are inspected annually. We also feel strongly that a seller in the real estate market gives themselves an advantage when they can demonstrate that their home has been regularly inspected and maintained by licensed contractors.

By far the best home inspector you could ever have. We have had bad experiences with home inspectors missing important things, but not with Mountains to Sea Inspections. Our fantastic realtor referred us and we were so happy with the recommendation. She even warned us that he was almost too detailed! We received 100+ pages for our inspection report, which made me feel confident that he had covered everything. This was back in 2019 (I'm a bit late to review) and we have found nothing wrong with our house that Erik did not initially catch. Wish we could have him drive out of state to inspect the

Shannon was great to talk to regarding details of the inspection. He was patient with all our questions & explained everything fully! Our Inspector, Paul did a very thorough job on the inspection. We have owned several homes & this was not our first home inspection. He confirmed our suspicions on a few things & found a couple things we didn't realize about the home. Homeguard is an extra perk of using MTS Inspections, and what a GREAT program that is!! It made putting together our request list to the seller a breeze. Our realtor was pretty impressed!
