I am always reluctant with dental appointments. In the past, I have had not-so-pleasant experiences. Pure Smile was a pleasant surprise! Both, my wife and my daughter has been there and said they really good. I decided to give it a try and was delighted with the appointment. I got to meet and talk with Dr. Yap. Who explained, quite clearly, the results in my X-Rays and the condition of my teeth. My visit was amazing and that is not a word usually associated with a dentist appointment! The entire staff was friendly, professional and on their A- Game! I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Yap, she has a great sense of humor, super smart and is so genuine. Dr. Yap and staff are all amazing, and every time we go in it’s a great experience. My 5 year old son just recently went in for his dental appointment and the staff put on his favorite movie for him, and were so patient and kind to him. The receptionist quickly and happily attends you and is super helpful as well. Cars do tend to drive fast in the parking lot though, so be careful with kiddos! We love this office!

From the front Desk Staff Ana, the Hygienist Ms Mandy, the Dental assistant Olivia, and Dr Yap all were very welcoming. I went in extremely nervous but Dr Yap made me feel very comfortable. Knowing I need work done, I didn’t feel pressured into getting anything done. My first impression was the best. I will recommend this office to family and friends.

The best decision I made was to change my dentist and come here!! Dr.Yap is THE best!! Everyone there is polite and patient. It’s always so clean here and their customer service is top tier! Wait time is also always on point! I never wait more than 10mins after my scheduled appt. love it here. You won’t regret it.

The only dentist I’ve been to in 50 years where I don’t feel pain. I get laughing gas that makes me feel relaxed and calm from the moment I sit in the chair. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Yap is the kindest and most gentle dentist ever. I have recommended her to several of my friends and colleagues. My appointments are always on time and I’m always out on time. Honest review from a real person! 😎

first impression of the place is that its super clean and has the friendliest receptionists (which i think is super important because they are the official first impression before meeting the actual dr). i was surprised to see how big the back area (the stations/rooms) was and it was beautifully decorated giving homey vibes so you feel comfortable instead of "everything smells and looks like its giving you legit ptsd dentist vibes" you know ?

What an amazing experience! I've had quite a bit of dental work in my lifetime and this was by far the best experience I've had at dentist office! This was such a pleasant experience. I had to have two root canal's done in one day and this is the first time EVER that I did not feel a thing. No, seriously... I did not even feel when she stuck me with the needle to numb my mouth. Dr. Yap is soooo amazing at her craft. Not to mention, she is very kind and personable. I'm so happy I found this office. Her ENTIRE staff is amazing too! PLEASE DO NOT hesitate to make an appointment

I have been visiting this dental place for regular cleaning since 2018. I had very bad toothache at what time, and I found this place was covered by insurance and it's very close to where I live, so I decided to give it a try. All of the employees here are super nice and get the job done. I highly recommend this place.

I found Pure Smiles a few years ago on yelp! A lot of dentists out there try to scam you and get the most money they can out of people, but not at Pure Smiles. She will tell you only what you need. My last few dentists have scammed me out of lots of money for unnecessary root canals and extra cleanings. I would definitely recommend Dr. Yap to everyone!

Dr. Yap has a great little dental clinic here in Houston / Katy. Love the flexibility and constant updates regarding moving your appointment closer. Very clean and up to date infrastructure. Pure Smiles is by far the best dental practice I've ever visited. Cleanings are painless - dare I say pleasant - affairs. Dr. Yam listens, is thorough - and funny!
When I needed a small filling, I couldn't tell where it was after she was done.
The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Yam's mother works behind the scenes on scheduling and billing and couldn't be more affable, like her daughter.
My teeth have never looked or felt better. The complimentary form-fit whitening trays and solution are great perks to an already superior experience.

Dr. Yap and Kristy were amazing. I have a lot of anxiety related to dental visits, but this one was different. The entire staff was so welcoming and warm throughout the process. Their treatment plans are realistic and I didnt feel like I was a patient being used to bill out unnecessary procedures. Im happy to have found this practice after trying so many in the area. The bonus is that their facility is beautiful. The latest in dental technology and TVs while you have your dental work done. Who wouldnt like that? I came here with my 7 yr old. We've tried other dental offices and to say he wasn't keen on going to the dentist would be an understatement. We arrived and he pleasantly surprised there were snacks he could have after and movies he could watch. Facility was very clean. Dr Yap was very patient with him, she was great. She was great with me too :)

She took the time to explain every procedure she was doing. For example, when I got my teeth whitened, Dr. Yap was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. She is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I would recommend Dr. yap to everyone.

I cannot say enough great things about this dentist. This is the first and only dentist I've come to since moving to Houston, and I enjoy everyone in the office from the front staff to, both hygienists I've had (today was Sahar, and she was so professional and informative , she gave me some great tarter reconfigure toothbrush tricks), and Dr. Yap had a great and bubbly energy !
