The website says this an award winning restaurant but it didn’t give what it was supposed to. First of all, I drove for more than 30 minutes to pick up my order. Only to find out upon arrival that the person I spoke to over the phone didn’t actually take down my order. My right mind told me to leave but I was excited to try the food so I waited. Huge mistake. I ordered chicken stew and received a bunch of mystery meat in red sauce—most of which was pork, that I do not eat. For me, the pounded yam was the best part. However, I will not eat from here again. Side note: if you’re thinking about

Normally I'm not a complainer, however thr food from this place was horrible. I love African food and drive an hour away just to get it. ... I thought I would try Fad because it is closer to me. Also my food came out in ten minutes, I have never been to a restaurant where food made to order come out that fast. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Very disappointed. Poor service, as they were woefully understaffed. The price on the menu didn't match what was on our bill; we were told after the fact that the menu was "outdated". We never received part of our appetizer. My son's goat dish was lukewarm. Overall, overpriced & overrated. Cockroaches on the wall.

I ordered the jollof rice and chicken. Disgusting!!!! The rice was scorched snd burnt to the point that it stank! I didnt even taste it because it was stinking and everybody hates scorched tomato sauce! This is me and my husbands 3rd time ordering from here and we kept giving it a chance and every time it was a disappointment. Save your money because you will end up buying food from somewhere else after this.

My husband and I recently moved to the Atlanta area from Philadelphia. We found FAD a few weeks prior to moving and were so excited to give it a try. I can honestly say, hands down, this is the BEST African restaurant we have ever tried! My husband is very particular about his African dishes and we could not stop raving about the food. We will be returning to FAD weekly to continue to try different dishes. The cooking is truly authentic and delicious. We recommend the suya, Jollof rice, moi moi and plantains! Their hospitality was also greatly appreciated when we informed them we were new to town

I was REALLY hoping to like this spot. I wanted to be "extra" and order some African food while me and the kids watched C2A. My sister told me how good this place was, so I was excited, especially since AYO had nasty comments about them (a dog in the back and a can of Raid out on the counter .) Any who, FAD was a disappointment. The chicken was DRY and the plantains were also DRY and OLD... The food wasn't even hot. That mess seemed like it was just chilling on the counter for like 9 hours.
The jollof rice was okay. I also liked the good customer service, too. But they need

The people are really nice, I liked the vibe. My favorite Nigerian restaurant didn't open up so I googled a new spot and eventually ran across this place. Now the problem I had with the food was that all the meat including fish that I did not want was really dry in my okra soup. The okra was good tho but I will not be returning.

Delicious African Food, Live African Musicians & Band, Friendly Hostess & Owner!!! We had an amazing experience. I was skeptical at first when I saw they had 300+ Reviews and still had close to a 4.0 star rating...I wanted to know if it was really that great so I tried it Out and We Loved It! The Owner is so sweet and welcoming, he made us feel like Family. Great Postive Environment. I will definitely return back and bring Friends & Family to visit as well.

I have had their food a total of four times - once dine-in, three times takeout. That alone should tell you something... their service is awful. The people working at FAD are extremely rude, more interested in watching their soap operas than looking their customers in the eye when talking to them. As a non-African, they talked to me like as if it was impossible that I knew what I was ordering or how to eat the food although I have enjoyed West African cuisine for 20 years. Don't make assumptions, people.
The first two times I had FAD food was about three years ago and the shabby service

It is kind of tucked out of the way, and we went late Saturday night so there were only a couple other patrons. The owner explained that Saturday night is usually quiet because the banquet hall next door usually has a function. The waitress service was ok, not great but not horrible either.
This is my first time eating Nigerian food at a restaurant. I really enjoyed my food! I even ate with my hand which I have never really done. The food was amazingly spicy. They didn't have any amala which my husband was not happy about, but the iyan was good enough for me.
This restaurant will be in

I had recently learned of this gen year old restaurant and was excited about trying my native cuisine in a new restaurant . We ordered their, what I believe would be called, chef's daily special. We were served beef, goat, and chicken. Also served was spinach, yam, three kinds of rice (plain white rice, coconut rice, and fried rice and several more items that Were delicious including some awesome SUYA. This was a wonderful tasty experience with excellent friendly and informative service. We were told what was spicy, what was mild, what seasonings could be added, what we should sample sparingly

Home away from home...
Fad Fine Dining is the best Nigerian restaurant in town, I hope I am not the first to share this with you. With an owner like Mr. Fad and staff members like Wale, you are surely in good hands, every time.
The atmosphere reflects the Nigerian culture in all aspects through African music videos, live news, football paraphernalia, flags, crafts and other memorabilia, you are sure to learn something new in the cozy walls of this establishment.
As a dedicated patron of this restaurant for dine in and to go orders, there is no way I could rate this place under 5 stars.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and we specifically called before arriving to ask if they had Gulder in stock and what time they were closing. The receptionist confirmed they had Gulder and advised they would close at 4.
It was Owambe Friday so we didn't think twice about driving 40 minutes to the resturant to listen to the live music and drink our favorite beer. We arrived to a pretty much empty house with no live band and the waitress reminding us they would be closing in an hour (12 am). I explained that we were told they were closing at 4 and she advised the time varied
