I just purchased my third machine from this store, and once again, Carol was incredibly helpful throughout my researching process to when I made the purchase.
It isn't often that I trust someone in sales, but Carol is one of the few that I do trust. He clearly loves the industry and is very knowledgable about many manufacturers and models.
Recently Beaches decided only to sell Juki, and that is just fine with me (they have used machines from other manufacturers). So far, I have bought my baby lock Acclaim serger, Juki TL-2010Q, and now my Juki MO-735 serger/coverstitch machine from Beaches. I

Great knowledge about machines. When I walk into a sewing machine store as a guy I am usually treated rudely and unwelcome.... Not So at beaches. I was welcomed into the store. They treated me with respect. They did not assume I did not know anything about sewing. They met my knowledge level and introduced new sewing technology. They also had great advice when I asked them about sewing machines for a class that I am starting to teach at my church. They graciously had three if the machines that I was looking for and agreed to ship the others to me from the manufacturer. What a great sales experience

Two of the employees that I spoke to were disgustingly rude. I took my machine in to be cleaned and it didn’t work when I picked it up. When I called to tell them it wasn’t working, asking for help, they told me it was not their problem anymore.
I took it to a Luke’s sewing and now it works perfectly.
I contacted Babylock to try and get some help with figuring out what was wrong and they let me know that Beach’s had multiple open complaints about similar issues of people bringing them working machines and picking up broken ones.
They are rude and bad at what they do. Terrible combination

I saw a review on here redirecting customers to a different store and they provided a review with out correct info. I wanted to tell in that the two owners of this store are the employees and they are great. I travel two states away to purchase my machines from beaches. They have very fair honest prices. Additionally they have product knowledge that spans decades. They also offer vacuum service and repairs are completed usually during the duration of my trip to this region. Carol offers classes and patience with new machines. Carol verifies machines and sew outs before customers leave the store
