Maxwells is a downtown Syracuse restaurant offering an expansive menu that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater! I have been to Maxwell's several times and truly love it! The ambiance is set through the tin ceiling and exposed brick and a cozy bar area. On the other side of Maxwell's there is a great space for events, too.
I have hosted happy hours here and the staff has always been extremely accommodating. It makes an experience even better when you have such a great staff taking care of you. They always have great drink specials and food too- enough to make a dinner out of it easily! My favorite was coming here for restaurant week.

After having a very negative experience at a bar in Syracuse (we actually walked out after being ignored & not served), we were looking for a place to get a drink and bite to eat. Maxwells, you blew it out of the park. The bar staff was excellent, the food came out in under ten minutes and was perfection. The cocktails were properly executed and balanced. We are so grateful to have discovered Maxwells. You've gained yourself a regular. Keep up the awesome work!

I had my engagement party at Maxwell's the other weekend and it was perfect! After already being to a handful of private events at Maxwell's, we knew they'd do a nice job, but we have to say that Maxwell's exceeded those expectations! Maria and her team hosted a party of 80 in their indoor/outdoor space and we couldn't be happier.
Not only was the food and atmosphere amazing, but the SERVICE is what we can't stop raving about. Maria and the entire staff were beyond accommodating. I'm already working on planning another private event with Maxwell's for later this Fall.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the event staff at Maxwell's. We planned my husband's 40th birthday with them and reserved the private event space and could not be happier with the turn out. Maria was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls. She gave wonderful menu recommendations and had no difficultly accommodating guests with diet restrictions. The food was phenomenal and the bartenders were great as well. The whole thing was so easy and stress free. The room was beautiful and required no decoration. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be back!

A delightful atmosphere for a private party . The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. Our brunch buffet was delicious! It presented a clean uniquely decorated space with plenty of amenities in the lou. Such a sophisticated touch gives this restaurant added class to an already beautiful space. Go see for yourself and enjoy!

Had an awesome time at Maxwells. This space is welcoming and beautiful. The restaurant owner, staff, and especially Maria make you feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious including the wood fire pizza. My friend had a vegan gluten-free pizza made from cauliflower crust and local vegan cheese which she raved about for the rest of the night. Would highly recommend Maxwells for a night out to dinner or to have a private party.

Had an amazing time we had at my friends birthday. The food was delicious!! staff were so great and attentive. We all talked about how enjoyable it was and what an awesome venue it is. Can’t wait for things to go back to “normal” to have more events. Also, would go here on Monday nights with a crew of friends. The outdoor seating, atmosphere and food are great! Highly recommend.

My husband and I went there a couple of days ago. I got these delicious salad and he got the panini salad with hand cut chips. Our meals were yummy and I really like the decor in the pub. I took a pic of the ceiling and lighting ...nice touch in the middle of Syracuse - it feels like we are away in a big city.
