I realize you have a ton of options when it comes to photographers, so please take a minute to look around and see my work. Since 2006 I have been working with families, individuals and companies all over NYC, Long Island (from Nassau County to the Hampton Bays), Westchester, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
All the photos you see here were taken and edited by me. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all or need something clarified. Services
My photographic journey started a few years before digital began to transform the industry. Using film was a great way to learn my craft and for personal projects, I sometimes still shoot medium format film. Since 1999 I've been involved in the photographic industry in one way or another. From working in a lab professionally retouching images, to maintaining an e-commerce site selling photographic gear to working at weddings and events.
We have worked with Roy twice, with our first born in 2013 and again with our twins in 2015. As new parents, he really put us at ease with how he handled our baby (it was obvious he had way more experience with kids than we did). He even included our two mini dachshunds in the shoot and managed them like a real dog whisperer.

Also, our photo shoot was supposed to be 2hrs but he went way over the 2hrs mark just to make sure we had all the shots we wanted!
Family portraits are also included with every Newborns, Baby & Children portraits session. In April of 2009- My husband and I booked our first session, a maternity session, with Roy- we were so impressed with both him personally and his work, we quickly booked a newborn session to follow just weeks later.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Roy. The photos he took of my son are amazing. He was unbelievably patient with my five day old boy. I appreciated that he does not charge by the hour. He did not rush. He came early and stayed late, until he was sure he got the best shots. He brought so many beautiful backdrops and props that transformed each poise into a creative picture of perfection.

What a dream experience we had with Roy for my daughter’s HS senior pics. He customized the locations to fit her, he was super communicative, and the entire shoot felt relaxed and stress-free (which is a victory for a 17 yo girl ha!). I can’t recommend this photographer more.

We love Roy and truly look forward to having him capture our family photos every few years. He's no fuss and goes with the flow, and just when you think there is no way he could have captured any winners, he'll send you a portfolio that will make you cry. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Roy! After doing some research on photographers that would come to our home in Oyster Bay, I reached out to a few and immediately knew that Roy was the best fit. He responded quickly, suggested a time before sunset that ended up giving us the perfect light in photos, and answered all my questions. On the day of our shoot, he was right on time and was so pleasant and enjoyable to work with. My two year old son took to him right away and was so well behaved because Roy made him feel comfortable and excited to take pictures. Our photos came out

I was a bit hesitant to look at booking a photographer for an NYC Senior shoot as we are from Texas. My daughter really wanted them in NYC and she found Roy and the great reviews. I went ahead and agreed to it and I was so pleased that I did. All of the great reviews were truly accurate. We enjoyed Roy's demeanor during the shoot. We had a fantastic time with him and he was extremely helpful throughout. The pictures turned out lovely. It was a great decision to book with him. I feel like anytime we want family photos, we will have to come back to New York to get them done.

Everything Roy did was above and beyond our expectations! Our baby was a premie and Roy was very accommodating, and worked around our schedule. He was timely, very professional, and the pictures were gorgeous. I have recommended him to all my friends and his pricing is very reasonable. I was so worried the baby wouldn't cooperate, but he knew how to work with her so she was asleep the whole time and very comfortable. His props were perfect and he even helped incorporate our dog into some of the photos. I spent so much time looking for a photographer and I am so happy we chose Roy. We will definitely

We decided to have our son’s senior portraits made while he was in New York for a summer musical theater program. We wanted someone who could capture Parker in his element. We got more than we bargained for. Roy was amazing. The final pictures are more than we could have ever asked for. He was so easy to work with and so accommodating, as we were coming from out of town (Springfield, MO). We we would highly recommend Roy for your seniors pictures!!

We used Roy for both of our children's newborn photos. We were SO happy the first time that we had to use him again 3 years later for our baby girl. It is amazing how many props he brings with him, especially as a new parent, when I had no idea what to prepare for the shoot. He spent so much time with us, and the grandparents as well. This time we had the difficulty of taking pictures of our baby girl with our active toddler and Roy was beyond creative and engaging so our toddler was able to get some amazing photos with his baby sister. Even the follow up and editing pictures was easy and fast

Roy is AMAZING!!! Last week my family and I had the pleasure of working with him for a second newborn shoot. He was wonderful the first time around, 3 years ago, so i knew as soon as I found out I was pregnant, that he would be doing our newborn shoot once again! Roy simply has a way with babies, and toddlers too (we have a 5 and 3 year old and he kept them engaged the entire time). He is so patient, flexible, creative, and professional. I haven't seen the pictures yet but I know they will be nothing short of beautiful! I strongly recommend Roy for anyone who is looking for professional photos

I can't begin to explain how pleased I am that we picked Roy for our New born shoot. Roy was absolutely wonderful with our 10 day old baby boy and he took so much care with him. We never felt rushed during our session, Roy took time to make sure everything was perfect.
Roy was so warm and friendly throughout the shoot it was like working with an old friend.
