Cinder and Co was amazing to work with start to finish. They went above and beyond to provide wedding and engagement photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. I planned to propose a month in advance and Cathy and her team was available as Christian was the photographer. They both arranged the surprise when mother nature wasn’t so friendly with the original plans. These 2 literally saved the day by planning and surprising my fiancé when i got on 1 knee and popped the question. They send the sneak peak and within 24hrs and full photos in 2 weeks or earlier and it came

We had an engagement shoot with Christian and Cathy last week and the photos look wonderful!!! They made us feel at ease, had some great poses in mind, and even accommodated us having our dog there for a few shots! Cathy was amazing to work with! I initially contacted Cinder and Co to photograph my proposal with a venue in mind. When it was clear that location would not be possible, Cathy suggested alternatives, keeping in mind what I was looking for. She came up with a beautiful spot and also helped arrange the venue rental and musician. The photos Christian took were fantastic and my fiance was both thrilled and surprised. She could not believe how well they turned out. The services went well beyond photography and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We would love to have them photograph our wedding

Cinder and Co did a fantastic job with our wedding photos and were a breeze to coordinate with during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Since our event was small, only one photographer was needed and Christian was extremely efficient in art directing and capturing the most important moments of the day. His easy-going but professional demeanor was exactly what we were looking for in our photographer. The photos came out fantastic - he was even able to give us an early preview of a few during the same weekend - and were adored by friends and family. We feel lucky to have found them. We had a wonderful time working with Cathy and Christian for our NYC City Hall wedding. Cathy was so helpful and communicative about the whole process, and was really accommodating to our budget. Christian shot our wedding. He was on time, super professional, and it felt like we knew him for years. He is so friendly and easy to talk to. Our family thought we knew him from high school. The finished photos are beautiful. It was over 90 degrees on our wedding day, but Christian knew the best spots and got us there quickly. I had the pleasure of recently working with Cathy of Cinder and Co. to photograph a surprise engagement NYC proposal in the east village that I had planned. Cathy was simply amazing to work with throughout the entire process, and I just wish I could give her more stars.
To be more specific, they were able to provide a photographer on short notice (about 2 weeks), the rate was reasonable, and there were no hidden fees or unpleasant surprises. Cathy worked closely with me up until the big day to make sure that everything went off without a hitch - and it did!!!! She was also flexible on timing

I'm so glad I hired Cinder and Co. for a surprise proposal I planned for my fiancé. Working with them was seamless - communication was all done through email, payment was done through Venmo, and the contract was signed online. Their associate photographer, Lin Pernille, was absolutely incredible. What stood out to me most about Lin was her professionalism, flexibility, and overall vibe. She even agreed to do a walkthrough at the gallery a few weeks before the big day, which I totally appreciated. We loved working with Cinder & Co on our wedding day in San Jose, CA. We communicated via email and phone calls leading up to the big day. They were extremely helpful in planning the locations, even though they were across the country.

I absolutely loved working with Cinder and Co. Cathy and Christian have a wonderful work dynamic and made my fiancee and I feel instantly comfortable and excited for our engagement shoot in central park. I had a delay first thing in the morning and Cathy was responsive and was able to push out shoot back to accommodate us.
