If I could rate this terrible place 0 stars I would. I understand your understaffed and tired and I work a lot of 16 hour shifts about 4 to 5 16 hour shifts a week with terrible people but I stay positive. The entire time my dad was fighting for his life due to Covid he experienced nothing but disrespect. From being put into a hospital room with black mold everywhere and being told all the time that it’s his fault becuase he’s not vaccinated and that when he gets out he needs to get vaccinated and keeps on making him wear his mask while he’s hooked up to oxygen tanks. How does someone push

10 stars out of 5. SUPER nice, competent staff. Seen right away. I was attended to with great care and kindness. Expert care and CT Scan. Dr. Joseph P. paid attention to all the details of my medical history and solved my mystery issue after my CT scan came back. Nurse Carly did perfect painless IV (and I was petrified!), Dr. Joseph P. was extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I'm so very glad I drove 3 cities away to go here because I wanted the very best and that's exactly what I got. If you fear hospitals go here because you will get the best care and will be at ease.

To whom it may concern,
The real truth about Overlake Hospital. My dad recently almost died from having been admitted to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA and my mom is getting better care through the VA than my dad receives from Overlake Hospital & Overlake’s Cardiac center. His near death experience was caused by an infection he receive while at Overlake but they are un-willing to admit he contracted it through an IV and it was not related to Covid. He was admitted back in October for AFIB and had his heart medication adjusted to help with this. After changing heart meds he had to stay in

Very happy with the care I have received. I’ve never had to stay in a hospital before. The staff here is very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I first went to ER and they were nice too, then to the hospital for a neurologist. The food exceeded any expectations that one might have. All allergies and intolerances are cared for in a serious manor and tastes great. The beds are also comfortable for rest.

If you want to die, be sure to go to this hospital. I was very ill tonight. I was only in line for two hours. After that, she told me that I should be in line for another 6 hours because they do not have a bed. Wait for hours in emergency Do you know the meaning emergency ? Emergency means is as soon as possible so fast not 6 hours. If you do not have bed why you accept the patient?

My wife stayed here before and after three birth of my son, and my son is currently there in NICU.
Three penal prenatal ward staff, the delivery team, post natal staff, and NICU staff are all absolutely cordial, kind, and compassionate. I've never had a better hospital experience in my life. Three facility is clean, modern, and spacious.
All this is not to mention that the food is excellent here.

Something is severely wrong with the woman secretary for the Emergency department. Today, 11/18/21 her response to me probing for more info on how to get in contact with my loved one was to gaslight me into feeling like I shouldn't even be trying to reach a patient bc nurses have other patients, and then went on to SHOUT? excuse me? i asked to be transferred to another person, and she said she would put me on hold instead. Overlake hospital please retrain your folks, clearly there's burnout or something going on but you cannot take it out on patience.

Had my son at this hospital and it went well. From admittance to birth, everything was terrific. After birth, everything went down hill rapidly. After giving birth, the care provided postpartum was simply appalling.
My wife complained she was having pains that felt like nothing she had experienced during labor and during the actual birth. Every single nurse involved in the postpartum care dismissed it, saying "it's normal to experience pain after birth." That pain was an inflamed gallbladder. Because the nurses were so sure that it was normal pain, my wife received minimal treatment from them
