Services
Element Solutions is an employee-owned registered small business and consulting firm specializing in professional geological and environmental consulting services. Element began in 2009 as the geological and environmental division of Pacific Survey & Engineering, Inc. (PSE), and was later established as Element Solutions, an affiliate of PSE.
Element Solutions employs numerous exploration techniques and analysis approaches to provide geotechnical investigations and geological assessments for a wide array of residential, commercial, and municipal projects. Element's Licensed Geologist staff have a proficient understanding of regional geologic conditions in western Washington that provide insight to streamline the scope of our projects to best suit the client's needs.
As one of our primary areas of focus, Element offers an array of stormwater design support and infiltration testing services for residential, commercial, and public facility developments across western Washington. State and local regulations commonly dictate that a project must undergo a site-specific review of soil and groundwater conditions to determine the optimal stormwater management design strategy, including infiltration where feasible.
Element Solutions offers knowledgeable and competitive Environmental Consulting services for a variety of project needs. Our diligent Phase I and Phase II ESA reports have provided critical environmental review and site assessment for hundreds of public, private, and tribal projects in western Washington, including BIA Fee-to-Trust applications.
Element provides select biological and habitat assessment services for permitting, regulatory compliance, and natural resource management purposes. Our staff has experience with critical area and regulatory review on a wide range and scale of projects.
We offer HCA and FEMA BiOp evaluation services to assist our clients in meeting Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO) study requirements and address FEMA/NMFS assessment standards mandated under the Endangered Species Act.These reviews are often done in conjunction with other geological assessments or engineering services that we can provide in-house.

As a Tribal Realty Officer, we use Element Solutions regularly as the go to experts doing Phase I Environmental and Wetland work related to realty acquisitions. They always complete excellent work timely and with great detail. Much of our work requires federal agency concurrence, which Element report's always meet federal standards and attain quick approvals.
