The following information is provided as a general overview of general anesthesia services available in our office. What is general anesthesia? General anesthesia is the state of pharmacologically induced "sleep". When you are told that someone will need to be "asleep" for a procedure, often surgical, this is a reference to being placed under general anesthesia.
If sedation has been recommended or given as an option for your child's dental treatment, this information may be helpful in answering many of your questions. What is conscious sedation? Conscious sedation is a minimally depressed state of consciousness intended to relax the patient in order to help assure the safe and comfortable delivery of quality dental treatment.

The staff and Dr. Ruby are so kind and caring. From the moment my daughter and I arrive, G. Is happy and interested in all the office has to offer. There are plenty of books and toys, a playroom, and a balloon and toy with every visit. The visit are quick, yet thorough, and everything is done to help make the experience fun and comfortable.

My 2.5 year old fell and ended up having abscesses on both front teeth. It was heartbreaking to realize he could not even chew with these teeth after the incident due to the pain. I found Dr. Rochon by searching on the internet and I had such a GREAT experience that I had to post this review. I have never had such kind and compassionate individuals help me through such a hard time with my child. Watching your child in pain and need anesthesia for a procedure was nothing easy. As a nurse my self I appreciate the kind and compassionate people in this world. From the front desk staff, assistants

While I love Dr. Rochon, whom we have seen for both routine visits and one dental emergency, it is the dental hygienists that will prevent me from returning to the office. Not only were they rude to my child but spent their time berating me about cleaning my child's teeth. It made my child uneasy and uncomfortable and these visits are now a nightmare!
Furthermore, I felt pressured into a treatment that was not necessary after a second opinion and the cost there is exorbitant. Also be ready to wait longer than your appointment takes to be seen.

I absolutely love Dr. Rochon and her staff. Every time we take our daughter to have her teeth cared for by Dr. Rochon it has been a fabulous experience! We have had routine cleanings, X-rays and check ups as well as extractions of baby loose teeth that were hanging on. My daughter loves the office, loves the assistants and loves to be with Dr. Rochon. I would trust them completely and we always leave happy. I have recommended two other families that had horrible experiences elsewhere, and they are both thrilled, happy and so pleased to have Dr. Rochon has their child's dentist too! As a parent

My child was seen by Dr. Rochon for a routine visit and a visit to fill small cavities.
The visit for the fillings was a nightmare and I would highly recommend you look for another pediatric dentist. She treated my toddler child horribly and my child left crying and afraid of returning to a dentist. After that fiasco, she recommended sedation and filling a total of 6 teeth including the ones that just needed to be watched. That recommendation would have cost $2000.
I found another great pediatric dentist in town who confirmed none of the teeth she wanted to work on needed any fillings.
