My truck had a problem that 2 auto shops were not able to correctly diagnose in able to fix it. George came out to Ramona the next day. He was stumped as no codes showed what was wrong and then he started checking things that didn't throw codes to eliminate things. He stuck with it and found the problem, fixed it and charged a very reasonable price.

George is a good guy, who did a great job replacing my alternator on my 1965 Shelby Cobra. He has been doing this for a long time and you can tell he loves what he does. He was reasonably priced and came to my house in a timely fashion. He will be my new “go to” and you should feel comfortable using him.

I went with this business because of the good reviews, and feel I need to post this here since my experience was not great and I want other Yelpers to know. I was buying a used car at a (supposedly) reputable Volvo dealership, and am stuck out of town due to family issues, so I needed someone to go out to take a look at it for me in my absence. My wife and I live in Pasadena but were looking to purchase a used vehicle from a dealership in Escondido. We contacted George yesterday to ask him if he'd be able to go to the dealership in question and check out the vehicle while we drove down, but he said no...which was fantastic!

George did a great job diagnosing some problems with my truck today. He came with his truck fully loaded with everything necessary to do the job. When I called, he said he could come take a look at my truck right away, and he was there within an hour. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he has lots of mechanical and customer service experience. I was very happy with the experience overall, and he gave me a great price. He even let me hang out and showed me a few things that I did not know about my truck.

I was vacationing at Lawrence Welk Resort in Escondido when my red battery indicator appeared on my 2007 Odyssey. It was Sunday morning Father's Day. I assumed it was the alternator since I replaced the battery about 1 year ago and called Affordable Mobile Auto Repair. George actually called back on Father's day and told me he agreed it sounded like the alternator. I asked him what it cost and he said he would check into it in the morning. He called with the estimation which was 1/2 the price I anticipated. I highly recommend George and his company; he is honest (charged what he estimated), professional

I parked my truck behind my house like usual, then the next day it would not start. New battery, new fuses, etc... still nothing. I called George around 7pm a few days later, he gave me a very reasonable price to come look at it while I was at work. I left cash for him on my seat with the keys. He agreed to come at 9am, and by 10am I received a phone call letting me know my truck was running.
This was fast, honest, and reliable service. Highly recommend!!!
