Welcome to Stewart Tile, my name is Bob and I am a second generation tile setter. For as long as I can remember, I have been involved in Tile Installation. From a very young age, I worked with my Father doing Ceramic Tile and Marble Tile Installation in San Mateo CA. For over 16 years I learned and grew my skill set until it was time for me to establish myself independently as a premier Tile Contractor.
In 1991 Stewart Tile was created and for the past 25+ years, I have suceeded in providing customer satisfaction in Ceramic and Marble Tile Installation in San Mateo CA. I have completed copious amounts of tile jobs and I am familiar with all of the types of tile. The jobs I am most familiar with are Foyers, Fireplaces, Kitchens, and Bathrooms.

Look no further for a tile company. Stewart Tile just completed a job for us on time, on budget, and with great attention to detail. Francisco was our mason, and he is a master, assuring the job was done to his perfectionist standards. He kept us informed about every phase of the job and worked to make as much of the house accessible to us as possible. We've worked with many contractors through the years, and working with Stewart Title was our best experience.

Bob and his team did an outstanding job on my custom tile project. Bob came to my home personally and reviewed my ideas and provided great input prior to finalizing the design. He worked very closely with me on the installation schedule so that it aligned with the custom tile delivery schedule and my project deadline date. He sent Fred, one of his tile craftsman to do the install. Fred did an outstanding install job with all of the special cuts and angles. I would fully recommend Stewart Tile for any custom Tile project.

I had a bathroom remodel go terribly wrong. I called Bob at Stewart Tile and he reassured me that my bathroom could be done correctly if I was willing to start over again. He connected me to a contractor and in only 2 1/2 weeks (less than projected), I have an amazing bathroom. I want to thank Bob and Francisco for taking on this project and making it happen. I really had lost hope that my bathroom could ever look good again. I am so happy to say it looks better than I imagined it! Francisco paid attention to details and worked diligently to give me exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend

Working with Bob, Fred, and Francisco has been great. Bob was very responsive putting together the bid and during the planning. They were able to schedule us in quickly, and Fred and Francisco were a pleasure to have in our home. They were friendly, efficient, and skilled - the end result looks great. We'd definitely use Stewart Tile again in future!

This is our 2nd time we invited Bob Stewart & his crew to do the tilling work for our new bathrooms & kitchen. Their tiling experience & workmanship is excellent. No matter what size or style of tile, each piece is perfectly placed. Our project was done in a timely manner & they were very accommodating to our contractor's schedule. Stewart Tile just finished tiling over my brick fireplace. The results are fantastic and I couldn't be happier. Bob is very easy to work with - knowledgeable and responsive. It's obvious that he really cares about his customers. Fred and Francisco were always on time - both extremely experienced, professional, hard working and true artists. They had to work with three tile thicknesses, two tile materials and follow a complex, custom design. The care and precision of their workmanship is incomparable. I highly recommend Stewart Tile - you won't be disappointed.

Just had my bathroom floor retiled by Stewart Tile and can not say enough good things about the job they did. Bob was very easy to work with, communicated clearly through the whole process, showed up when he said he would, offered great suggestions and there is not one flaw in the completed job. I can't believe what a perfect job he did on the rounded corners, the grout lines and the leveling of an uneven floor. I can't imagine that there is anyone out there who could have done a better job. Thank you so much!

I was referred to Stewart Tile by Cynthia at Artistic Tile in San Carlos (great tile showroom) and also found that my brother had used Stewart Tile twice in the past with very good results. Bob Stewart (owner) came out and reviewed our master bath remodel and provided a quote to install 12x24 honed marble throughout the floor and shower stall. We accepted the quote and work was started promptly. The team of two tile setters working the job were very experienced, professional, quick, and clean. Bob did a great job of coordinating the schedule and notifying me/confirming when the team would be on

Stewart Tile does great work! Fred and Francisco did all the tiling and the outcome was fantastic! Some of the tile designs were intricate, but because of their experience and attention to detail, the tile designs came out exactly how I imagined it. They take pride in their work and it shows. Very professional, polite and easy to work with.
They did our fireplace, bathrooms and kitchen. I still marvel at their beautiful work every time I step into the room. I'm so glad my contractor referred us to them.
