We finally decided to do a kitchen renovation in our 70+year old house. Fern Tile had to be called out since the tiler originally contracted to do the kitchen fell behind. Fern Tile CAME TO THE RESCUE! They were amazing especially because our backsplash was a bit complicated and lots of cutting had to be done to make everything look nice. They laid out our flooring so beautifully- couldn't be happier. They were extremely neat and professional. They completed the job as promised in a short time and their crew was phenomenal. Our downstairs bathroom has been a mess since we purchased the house many years back. It became evident early on that the previous owner shoehorned the thing in to sell the house and made a multitude of questionable decisions while doing so. One of which, only tiling half of the shower, bit us recently when we had the windows replaced on the house. (Yes additionally there is a window right in the shower). We had the most wonderful experience with Fern Tile. Connie worked with our crazy schedule and the job came in ahead of time and on budget. The work crew was professional, kind and creative. They were patient with all my questions and offered innovative solutions to some wacky problems found in an old home. I highly recommend Fern Tile Co., in Millbrae and will definitely use them again. I called Fern for a relatively minor bathroom retiling job, following some major dry rot work, because I had used them for another relatively small job fifteen or twenty years ago and was completely satisfied with it. I am again completely satisfied. They may take a little longer than they expect (What contractor doesn't take longer than anticipated?) but when they finish, the job is done right. It is worth noting that Tom Fernandez, the owner, did not do the work this time, but Mark, who did, was equally skillful. He found an unexpected anomaly in the job but it didn't faze him.

Fern tile company just completed a complete tiling of my kitchen. They were professional on time and didn't outstanding job. The previous flooring was linoleum three layers, The linoleum was removed, cement board was put down, then the tiles were cut very precise and very accurate. Next year I will call Fern tile back to do my bathroom. fFive stars, you rock Fern Tile.

I contacted Fern Tile to help me with the remodel of my kitchen. I really had no idea where to start, but Connie came out to measure and pointed me in the right direction. She sent me to Bedrosians in SSF where I was able to pick out the perfect tile for the style I was looking for. Once I made my selection, she got me on their schedule and they completed the work within a week and a half. The guys who came to do the work were very experienced and helped with layout suggestions. You can definitely tell that the team at Fern Tile takes pride in their work. I will be using them again for the future

What a great group of people. They did a wonderful job on my kitchen and bathroom. Connie in.the office is just a gem and all the fellas that came out to do the work were so sweet. Tommy the owner (I think )even helped me move my couches and tv when he saw me struggling. Great group will def. Use them again..

We needed our shower re-grouted. Fairly simple repair.
No show, twice. The first time the lady didn't even call. I had to call and leave a message with someone in the office. Apparently she was stuck on an earlier job and didn't have my phone number. That says, poor time management and bad organization to me.
She wanted to reschedule the appointment for the next day so I thought I'd give her another chance. Next day she calls me to ask to reschedule for the following week.
Hmmm, doesn't really inspire a whole lot of confidence that she'll actually ever come does it
