Ian was the first and only recommendation from my wedding planner when it came to tuxedos for me and my best man. Starting with cost effective off the rack options, over three fittings we achieved looks that were comparable to custom tailoring. Ian knew the alterations that would be most flattering for different builds and offered good suggestions for finding accessories to complete the outfit. Weddings can get stressful and expensive but Ian was professional and responsive throughout and offers great value. I'll trust him with both formal and casual wear in the future.

Spent a lot of days wasted going here. They pushed a specific brand on us, and then every time we would go in to try on a new style or for a fitting, we would have to basically start from the beginning; Sometimes they didn't have what we were waiting for, or they never ordered the sizes we needed to try on, and even having to straight up explain who we were to the staff that we'd spent hours with and just spoken with on the phone.. Then when it got down to the final days, they acted as though it was our fault that it was down to the wire and they were some kind of miracle workers. I was merely

Long time customer. Had not visited for many years. I am a second generation customer as my Dad would frequent in the 70's ! Place looks the same, very old building and relatively crusty senior aged staff. Though, they DO know their job and most importantly have GREAT fabric which results in solid quality Men's suits. i bought two suits, cost me a GRAND and another 100 bucks for alteration. The tailor on the third floor has some relationship. He does good work but he takes a while to complete. In the future i buy suits and tailor elsewhere... Moreover the shirt guy

Rick is the man!!! After reading various great reviews, I decided to give this store a shot to pick my wedding suit. I was amazed by the various suit selections. What really did it for me was the amazing customer service that was provided by Rick. Very patient as I tried numerous suits and always gave me his honest opinion, which led me to make the perfect choice for my wedding.

I have shopped here since the early 1980's. Many suits later I still find this store has the best quality and price as well as customer service. If you want a perfect fit and a huge selection this is the place to go. Kira, the owner is great! I bought a pair of 3Sixteens there and a few months into wearing it, some of the stitching came apart unexpectedly.Emailed him and they said to bring it in and they took care of it free of charge.Even offered to mail it to me complimentary so I didn't have to go back down to the store to pick it up. Top class.

On September 16, I had to try and make the impossible possible. I had forty minutes to steam press six units for work. Small problem - I had no access to a steam press. I went on every dry clean store on Beverly Drive and found nothing. Nobody could even point me in a direction toward where I could potentially steam press an item. Twenty minutes left. Stan's the man. We were in LA and had to get the hubby a tie for a special occasion happening that night. Not gonna lie, we didn't know what to expect when the guys on the 2nd floor told us to make our way to the 3rd. Mad Men-era is right. But we got exactly what we needed and honestly the white collared shirt we bought may be the nicest fitting and highest quality in years of high-end department store purchases. I won't buy a suit anywhere else. Ian sold me my first suit for my new job, and a year later I came back and Alan sold me a black suit for formal occasions. They have everything in one spot: the suits, jackets, ties, pocket squares, and tailoring. The whole place is right out of early 60s mad men and is soaked in authenticity. The prices are less expensive than what you expect to pay for a Beverly Hills location like this. It's not men's warehouse type of prices but the quality of both of my suits is very high.

Malibu Clothes absolutely knocks it out of the park with their selection, value, and stylist team. I was in desperate need of a new suit (or two) and wandered into their store to find a staff that had the highest level of professionalism and knowledge. I never felt pressured to buy anything or that I was being up-sold, and they helped me try on numerous suit options to find the cut that fit perfectly. I just moved back to California after a 16-year absence (and 40 years absent from L.A.) for a new job, and decided to celebrate by buying a new suit to wear on the first day at work. I remembered Malibu from the old days, when I was referred to it by a friend's father.
Much to my pleasure, they were still there and going strong. Being a big guy, it's hard to find suits in my size, but Malibu had more than ten, and helped me pick one I'd look good in. Not only that, they tailored it in about 12 hours.

They carry odd sizes, and 41R (which I now know is MY size) was the winning ticket. They were able to ship the tux along with swatches for accessories from LA to Fort Worth, TX in less than 48 hours, I tried it on, it fit, and that was it!
These guys are top class professionals, and from here on out, I'll only buy my suits from Malibu Clothes.
