Skin testing will no longer be accepted. We are set up to perform the new blood test (called Quantiferon) for TB in our office, but please be advised that there is a $50.00 fee for this test. 2. Blood Test for Syphilis which include RPR and if positive further testing will be required at additional cost.

I've been seeing Dr. Zaffar as my primary doctor for over a year. Nice doctor but obtaining my regular non narcotic prescriptions have become a hassle. He only allows a 30 day prescription. You're not allowed to have auto refill with your pharmacy. You have to call his office to get a refill. No problem, but sometimes refills aren't relayed to him. I've had to miss dosages on meds that I've been taking for quite some time. Was just told by his office that I have to miss a dosage tonight due to having an appt tomorrow. It's no wonder my blood work is never consistent

Dr Z was alright from my first impression. Pretty normal except that he's the only doctor here and he doesn't show up at open. The front desk admins said that he shows up an hour after opening usually. Kinda confused but okay.

I am new to the area and needed to find a GP close to home. I get migraines and I needed someone to prescribe medication for me. Dr. Zaffar did that, no problem. All was fine until I actually got very sick. Dr. Zaffar listened to my chest and looked at my throat. He did not look in my ears. He did not check my glands to see if they were swollen. He did not palpate my abdomen to see if I had anything wrong internally. My former doctor in New York would have done all of those things. This doctor just prescribed me some antibiotics and sent me on my way. Very poor bedside manner as well. So Dr Zaffar

If you are looking for a primary care physician look no further! Dr. Z is a caring and kind physician who treats his patients as if they are his own family. He is smart, patient and thorough. The staff is great. The front desk check in was exceptional. The doctor on the other hand didnt care that I existed. None of my medical history was taken except my smoking status and allergies and not by him. As a new patient and pregnant I felt this isnt the physician I want to manage my care. He barely looked at my the while 5mins he was in the room. He told me he was going to stop taking my insurance cause the referral process was too complicated. Lucky I had all the information I needed to get my referral or it would of been a wasted trip. I assume if your not getting botox or have the best

I'm in Florida on business and when I woke up this morning I discovered a large painful, burning, rash in my right armpit. I checked Yelp and found Z Medical Center less than 2 miles from where I was staying. I called and they told me I could come right in. The receptionist was very friendly and I filled out the usual doctor's office forms. In less than 10 minutes I was whisked to a treatment room after first getting my height, weight, and B/P. I am new in florida and to the davenport area. I do not have a physician and started to feel congested, cough.headache and wanted to see someone close by and quick. I searched walkin clinics near me and Z medical came up...it was less than one mile from home so i gave it a shot. I did not have an appt and new ins which i had not selected a primary on this day. The girls at the front desk advised i add the doctor first in order to see him. I just moved from Tampa and didn't want to drive back to my MD for my annual checkup/labs and BP meds refill, so I thought I would try Z.
Z wants me to come in every 3 months and have labs every time.....forever...because it is "how he practices medicine". I am healthy and quite capable of driving back to Tampa to save FOUR TIMES THE COST.
So beware.....for this guy MD must stand for Maximum Deception...or is it Major Debt?

We Walked in ahead of 5 other patients, just to get an ear examined for swimmers ear while on vacation and Waited over 45 minutes for insurance coverage to be verified and they refused patient care until they determined insurance coverage. Offered to pay for visit in full and they still made us wait. They let 4 other people go ahead of us while they tried to determine insurance coverage. A patient should never be denied care or treatment! We Sat here for over 90 minutes before doctor even saw the patient! Really? just to get an ear looked at! What a lack of customer service! They need to hire
