Working with clients through trauma, PTSD, and relational trauma, as well as premarital counseling and couples therapy for communication and conflict resolution. I know what it's like to feel lost and vulnerable and to need help finding the map to your life. I know what it's like to feel as though you're in the bottom of a hole and don't know how to get out.
Working with couples through sex and intimacy issues, premarital counseling, grief issues, and helping clients with body image issues. Deep down, we all are chasing after the same thing: connection. Intimate connection with another human being can be terrifying; you have to take risks and make yourself vulnerable, but if you're willing to put in the work, the outcome can be life changing.

Liz Higgins is a current colleague and former employer of mine. I went with my partner to Millennial Life Counseling for couples counseling. We completed 7 sessions with Michelle; our last session was in Feb 2019.
When we first contacted MLC the coordinator Kim told us there is no complimentary pre-appointment communication with counselors to assess fit. Other counseling groups we explored in Dallas offer free 15-30min phone calls to speak with potential counselors, which we found super useful. So this is one area where I believe MLC as a counseling group could improve.
As for actual couples work, we ultimately decided we weren't getting closer to our relationship
