There is a King's Wok and a King Wok, and I kept getting these mixed up when looking at reviews and a menu before I realized they were two separate places. FYI to others!
We enjoyed our General Tso's and Seasame Chicken, and the fried rice on the side of the combo had a good flavor although a little dry. The eggrolls that come in the combo are a good size!
Lastly the crab rangoons are on the sweeter side, but boy they are tasty. Would order from here again.

So, Kings Wok is definitely not the best Chinese food I've had, and it is definitely entirely Americanized (which is t an issue necessarily). However, they have some of the best Chinese food available on this side of town - you aren't likely to find authentic Chinese around here, so American is what we have to judge against. Now I only say this because, in general, Chinese food in this area is really bad. Even dishes that should be easy to get right - looking at you Kung pao - are made poorly at most south side/downtown eateries. Kings wok gets these dishes right. They deliver decent

I'm from California and ever since I've moved to Indy, I've looked for Hot & Sour soup that was close to what I could get in the Bay Area. Well I have to say the soup here is better. I'm surprised they only have 4 stars. The General Tso and Sesame Chicken are also the best I can find here in Indy. Crab Rangoons are alright, but the other food makes up for it. The hot & sour soup is unique as it has cabbage and water chestnuts in it, which I love, but wanted to add that for those whom may be expecting a traditional hot and sour soup.

The other night we were craving Chinese and started looking to see who had good reviews. We decided to order from King's Wok for the first time. We got egg drop soup, Crab Rangoon, General Tsos, and Vegetable Lo Mein. Everything was really good, though I was a little disappointed in the General Tso's chicken. In the photos it looked like half of it was broccoli and when I got it there were only two pieces of broccoli. (I love broccoli in my dishes.) Also, I wouldn't call it spicy at all. It actually tasted sweet. Not what I was expecting, though it was still good. I'd definitely

Had a lunch special, Kung Pao chicken, and asked to go light on the spice due to my sensitive stomach. It was just enough to enjoy and a huge portion with lots of chicken and veggies. Solid Chinese food takeout on the west side or if you're on I-465 passing through Indy on the west side. It's about 2 miles, max, from the freeway in a strip mall with lots of parking, including for large trucks.

Was in the mood for some Chinese food, as I don't have any Chinese restaurants near me, I looked to yelp reviews to see my options. Went with my standard go tos to make my judgement. Sesame chicken combination platter with fried rice had nice flavor and was a good portion. Also the fried dumplings were light and flavorful. Crab Rangoon and egg roll were my least favorites. Open to trying more things in the future.

King's Wok! First, they're open on Mondays which is handy while many restaurants close shop. This place may lack ambience, but who cares -- the food is excellent. I ordered Kung Pow Chicken for myself and Sesame Chicken for my mother, who proclaimed, without prompting, "this is the best Sesame Chicken I've ever had," which says a lot coming from a world-traveled woman in her 80's. We also ordered their egg rolls and chicken potstickers; everything was delicious. Oh, and when I was in the restaurant ordering our food to go, a customer was talking about how much

Well, our search for good Chinese in this town will continue. We were encouraged by the reviews but our experience was quite disappointing. Crispy noodles and fortune cookies: stale! Hot and sour soup: very peppery without much flavor, and not very sour. Vegetable lo mein: flavorless and virtually no vegetables, all noodles! Broccoli with garlic sauce: syrupy sweet and oversauced, but actually the flavor was good. Pork fried rice: meh. Eggrolls: Average. On the positive side, it arrived very quickly through DoorDash and the white rice was delicious (can you sense my sarcasm?)! Also, I really like

We ordered delivery today and it came very quickly. The delivery lady was a little lost for the address but otherwise she was extremely courteous and sweet. We ordered online...which is awesome! They have a family meal...which is awesome! Everything was so good. The Generals Chicken was a bit more spicy then the kids are use to, but I know for next time to ask for it to be toned down. Their sesame chicken is also spicy, which I'd never heard of before, that dish is usually a sweet sauce as opposed to, say, the general chicken. Again, I've made a note on the menu for next time. The crab

Ordered from Postmates and so glad I did! Mostly everything was delicious! Got sweet n sour chicken, the sauce was great.. not watered down like other restaurants. The General Tsos, I wish it was a little more spicy maybe personal preference but there wasn't even a kick.. still good though. The Black Pepper chicken.. oh my, too salty and too much garlic. I never thought I'd say too much garlic but both were overpowering you didn't get the "black pepper" taste. Would definitely order from this place again though

This is a standard Chinese "junk food" place. You know, like fast food kinda stuff-- not like panda express or Mark Pi's, but one of the places with the walkup counters, the menu board full of pictures and the booths where no one ever sits because everyone gets food to go. It's inexpensive and greasy and satisfying unless you really hate that kind of thing and HAVE to have the real deal, homestyle, totally authentic. It's something I like and something I crave here and there.
