Rosana Michail grew up in Sao Paulo Brazil where her mother owned a large salon and formulated her own natural depilatory wax. I had my Brazilian wax & eyebrows done yesterday from Alex & have been going to her for years, she is so sweet, always on time & gives the most professional spa experience. I have been going to Rosana for waxing and she does an excellent job! The salon is very clean and Rosana is super thorough and she makes sure she gets every single hair. The price is high, but worth it if you ask me. Waxing isn't something you can mess around with, only certain people are actually good at it and Rosana is definitely one of those people!

Not only was she super personable, but she also really cared about making sure my eyebrows were moving in the direction I was trying to go. She took the time to talk through different shapes with me -- it turns out I like the straight shape look -- and showed me how I could get there with a growth encouragement product at home. Rosana showed such incredible expertise too, drawing out the symmetrical lines I should strive for to achieve the look I wanted.

Came here for a quick Brazilian wax which was definitely quick! It was slightly more painful than usual maybe because i hadn't been waxed in months due to covid.
My esthetician was Rosana and she was very pleasant, however i felt she was a little too rough and didn't apply pressure after she ripped the wax off which is really important so it won't hurt even more than it already does. She would rip then rip immediately right after not giving me time to process the pain.
Also, i realized I'm a lot more swollen than i normally get after waxing. It's been over 24 hours and

I recommend this place to anyone who will listen, I have been a client for years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Best wax technique I have experienced, they work quickly but are thorough and pay attention to every detail. Their wax is so gentle and is the only wax I have found that works with my sensitive skin. Every time I walk in to the spa I feel so welcome, the girls always remember my name and greet me with a warm smile. I purchased an at home wax kit and was nervous to try it out myself, but Rosana walked me through the entire process and was so patient and helpful! Great ambiance

The place is super clean and the girls are extremely nice! I've been there a couple times with Gabi - she's awesome! I'm sure all the other girls are good too since there are good reviews.
The wax they have is one of the best I've ever used - doesn't irritate my skin after my services. It's a nice, natural wax. No complaints whatsoever!

This is hands down the best experience I have ever had for a Brazilian wax, or any other waxing, beauty services. The owner Rosanna has been making her own wax for years. It is very high quality, and is great for sensitive skin. Alex does a fabulous job with Brazilian, eyebrow, or any other waxing/tinting services.
It is always a relaxing and enjoyable experience, which is not always synonymous with waxing!
Also, the owner always has unique scents and products that you can't find at other boutiques.

I have very sensitive skin but noticed that the wax they used wasn't as harsh as other establishments. Other wax salons will have a regular wax and then a premium price for the softer, sensitive skin wax. This place only offers the better sensitive skin wax. I also found out the owner had previously formulated and mixed her own wax so the wax they use was originally her formula.
The staff is very friendly and they also offer spray tanning services

I recently moved to Summit from NYC and went to the same esthetician for 7 years at a spa there. I asked around for recommendations from friends and Alex's name came up at Girl from Ipanema Spa.
I couldn't be happier. She's amazing, gentle, caring, and even understanding of my hesitation to let anyone touch my brows besides the woman who has been shaping them for 7 years. The wax Alex uses is also gentle and high quality.
I now have fully transitioned to Alex for all waxing. If you're looking for the least painful Brazilian (even when pregnant)--see Alex. Need a awesome

I have received numerous waxes here. Alex is the best and has always made me feel super comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get waxing done.
Also, sometimes they will send out alerts to give discounts if you can schedule a last minute appointment. It's great if you can take advantage of it. And I have!

I love this place! It's close to home so it's very convenient to get to. I always book with Alex because she's so nice & professional. She was the 1st person to ever give me a wax & she made me so comfortable & talked to me the whole time. The waxing is very fast, but not rushed & it lasts for a long time! The establishment is always very clean & they have a cute decor.
