Services
Black Thai gives you a taste of Thai cuisine you're not likely to find outside of Thailand. In 2007 Black Thai opened their location in Myrtle Beach, SC. Our Chef's home-style cooking quickly became well-known in Myrtle Beach. His dream was to open a restaurant where customers could enjoy all the tastes of Thailand without leaving the city.
We take reservations for lunch and dinner. To make a reservation, please call us at (843) 213-1284 between 4:30pm-9:30pm, Closed Sundays. We do not book the bar area - we leave this for walk-in guests to ensure that we always offer some tables for those who have not booked. Whatever your event or celebration, we are here to make your special day a truly memorable one.

Oh wow!! This way great!! It was a little late in the evening so we called to see if there was availability before we went. The person on the phone was great.
Got there. A smaller quaint place. The server (Hamilton) was fantastic. He was the one that answered the phone too. Answered all our questions. Knew the menu well. Help us with the levels of spice (hot). He was really great!
Food came out. Generous portions. Fantastic flavor. Dessert was great!! Price range was great.

Thai food in Myrtle Beach may be something you don't think about, but this place is to die for!! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The service was incredible as well, especially with just the one server (Go Hamilton! đź’Ş) Well priced and good drinks. Would definitely recommend!

The food here was excellent and fresh! Definitely one of my top Thai places of all times. It’s very spicy, so error on the side of caution when ordering! I love spicy foods and ordered a 3. It was very spicy but tolerable. I ordered my meal with a few alterations to how it was made and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients and was able to accommodate my preferences. My husband also absolutely loved his food.

Yum! This place has a small restaurant/business atmosphere. The food was great quality and tasted fresh. They can easily cater to vegans. We ordered two sides: edamame and fried tofu and I got the Pad Pak Ruam mit without mushrooms and fried tofu. My husband got the drunken noodles with fried tofu. We enjoyed it very much. The service was great too which is another plus! Love when staff members know about the food they serve and what’s vegan or not. The gentleman who seated us was extremely helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Excellent service, excellent food, a very passionate and service oriented owner. Paid attention to detail, patiently explained things on the menu and I was personally very impressed with the quality of food and ambience of this really good Thai restaurant. You even get to choose your level of spicy which is great. Excellent will be back! :)

Absolutely delicious!! Originally meant to takeout but ate inside so that’s why it’s in takeout boxes. Ordered the spicy eggplant, chicken pineapple fried rice, and pad seew. You can choose spice levels for everything and if you like “real” spicy, ask for it! :) waitress was extremely friendly and I was so full after the meal! The chef apparently has spent a long time in Thailand so you knowww the food is good :)
