Counseling Connections Of San Antonio
The purpose of counseling is to help clients achieve their personal goals, and gain greater insight into their lives. One hopes that by the end of this process one will be more satisfied with his or her life. Counseling is NOT a process where the counselor tells the client what he or she should do or decides choices for the client to make.

Rather it is an opportunity for the client to come to a greater understanding of the person that he or she is with the help of the counselor. Symptoms often include hopelessness, fatigue, irritability, restlessness, and a loss of interest in activities, among others.
Services
Counseling Connections of San Antonio Services provides general counseling, EAP, and mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults covering a wide range of topics from depression and anxiety to marriage counseling. Our staff is comprised of licensed professionals who emphasize efficient, solution-oriented treatment, and a variety of other methods to assist a variety of clientele.
Your first psychotherapy session is usually a time for the therapist to gather information about you. The therapist may ask you to fill out forms about your current and past physical and emotional health. All of this information helps the therapist gain a deeper understanding of your situation. It might take a few sessions for your therapist to fully understand your situation and concerns and to determine the best approach or course of action.
There are two ways that you may be able to use your insurance benefits for therapy services- with an 'in-network provider' or an 'out-of-network provider'. Most therapists at the CCOSA are not in-network providers with insurance carriers and, therefore, do not bill your insurance company or accept co-payments as fees for services.
Our office is going GREEN and we are eliminating the need for paper forms. If you would like the forms sent to you electronic for review and completion without the need to print, please contact our office at 210-446-8255 and be prepared to provide your basic demographics, a valid email address, and phone number.
Looking for an ethical, experienced, well-rounded supervisor who will prepare you for the counseling world. Over two decade's worth of counseling experience in a variety of settings and as a professional counselor. Whenever possible, I issue site and client survey's for feedback where the associateship is taking place.

I was very excited to try this place! But this place IS NOT military friendly at all!!! When I scheduled my first appointment they said they needed 5 days to verify insurance. Ok I understand, I let them know I need to be seen soon but I understand. They call me less than 2 hours before my appointment and say there was a problem verifying I had… insurance. Ok? I really needed this appointment but couldn’t afford to pay full price. When asked why I am being notified so late, she said sorry I’m not sure. So we rescheduled another week. I bet you can guess what happened! Here comes
